On 26 Sep 08 Deputy Sheriff Anderson requested a summons for Austin Wright, age 18, 209 Second Street, Lower Salem, for theft. The previous day an instructor at the Washington County Career Center caught Mr. Wright with a backpack full of copper and aluminum wire that Mr. Wright was attempting to remove from the shop class without permission.

On 26 Sep 08 Deputy Sheriff Anderson arrested Christopher Cook, age 18, 121 Oakwood Avenue, Marietta, for possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance. A consensual search of Cook’s car at the Washington County Career Center that afternoon yielded a Tramadol pill. The same afternoon a seventeen year old Marietta resident was found with Klonopin in his pocket. Due to previous encounters with the judicial system, the juvenile’s probation officer requested he be transported to the Washington County Juvenile Center. He faces a charge of delinquency by drug possession.

On 26 Sep 08 Robin L. Walters, age 47, 429 Anderson Road, Fleming, suffered a minor wrist injury after a vehicle crashed into the building in which she was standing. Betty L. Clark, age 79, 2675 Clark Road, Cutler, was attempting to back out from at parking stall at First Settlement Physical Therapy, 8369 State Route 339, Vincent, when she failed to put her vehicle in reverse. Hitting the gas pedal, Ms. Clark accelerated and crashed her Chevy Corsica into the side of the building. Ms. Walters said she injured her wrist when she ducked to the floor after hearing the crash. Ms. Clark was uninjured; her vehicle sustained minor damage (707).

Brent A. Bair, age 24, 18891 S. Canaan Road, Guysville, for failing to appear for pretrial on 22 Sep 08.

Glenna M. Blair, age 28, 687 Wynncrest Drive, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $1,895.15.

Teddy Church, age 42, 6053 Federal Road, Coolville, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $358.80.

Glenn R. Johnson, age 21, 116 Harmar Street, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $3,693.70.

Donald R. Meador, age 58, 817 Grandview Avenue, New Matamoras, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $385.20.

Brandin D. McCoy, age 22, 210 S. Fifth Street, Marietta, for failing to appear to serve three days in jail on 12 Sep 08.

Russell O’Dell Jr., age 42, 1308 Williamson Avenue Apt. 5C, New Matamoras, for an assault committed on 12 Aug 08.

Eldon R. Pierce, age 32, 8 Sixth Street, Belpre, for contempt of a court order.

Shannon L. Scholderer, age 33, 38221 Zuspan Hollow Road, Middleport, OH, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $1,262.30.

Donna J. Sunderman, age 38, 29160 E. Belpre Pike Road, Coolville, for failing to appear to serve fifteen days in jail on 16 Sep 08.

Steven Wayne Rush, age 21, 1770 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Rush was arrested on Second Street by Patrolman Sury of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Sep 08 at 12:27 am.

Charles Stanley Fox II, age 37, 800 Fourth Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of his parole, a felony. Fox was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Sury of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Sep 08 at 1:02 am.

Roland Dean Handschumacher, age 48, 726 Second Street Apt. B, Marietta, for violating the terms of a protection order, a misdemeanor. Handschumacher was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff S. Travaglio and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Sep 08 at 2:09 am.

Christopher Paul Cook, age 18, 121 Oakwood Avenue, Marietta, for possession of drugs, a misdemeanor. Cook was arrested at the Career Center by Deputy Sheriff Anderson and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Sep 08 at 11:20 am.

John Leonard Clark, age 37, 15708 McConnelsville Road, Caldwell, for theft, a misdemeanor. Clark was picked up at the Noble Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff Reeder and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Sep 08 at 2:15 pm.

Clifton Dwayne Collins, age 27, 340 Harriett Street, Macksburg, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Collins was picked up at the Noble Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff Reeder and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Sep 08 at 2:15 pm.

Alan Lee Barth, age 51, 127 Ohio Street Apt. 2, Marietta, for gross sexual imposition, a felony. Barth was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Sep 08 at 10:00 pm.
