On 20 Sep 08 Teresa A. Dennis, age 39, 429 McGill Road, Vincent, reported she was showering when her live-in boyfriend Timothy E. Jarrell, age 46, instigated an argument with her. Ms. Dennis said her boyfriend became increasingly angry and pulled her out of the shower by her arm. When questioned Mr. Jarrell confirmed an argument took place but could not provide a credible story as top how Ms. Dennis fell out of the shower. As a result, Deputy Sheriff Thorpe requested a warrant for Mr. Jarrell for domestic violence.

On 20 Sep 08 Deputy Sheriff Malone was dispatched to the scene of death of a sixty-three year old Waterford resident. The man’s death appears natural; no foul play is suspected.

On 20 Sep 08 Donna Jackson, age 36, 11A Milltown Road, Newport, reported her neighbor’s dog bit her. Ms. Jackson said she was returning belongings to Venita Yoho, age 31, 15 Milltown Road, when Ms. Yoho shoved her off the porch. Falling to the ground, Ms. Yoho’s dog bit Ms. Jackson in the arm and ear. Questioned about the incident, Ms. Yoho said Ms. Jackson would not leave her property when asked and an argument escalated into a shoving match. After interviewing witnesses Deputy Sheriff McLeish determined both parties were equally at fault and requested summonses for Ms. Yoho and Ms. Jackson for disorderly conduct.

On 20 Sep 08 Deputy Sheriff K. Travaglio requested a summons for a fifteen year old New Matamoras resident to appear in Juvenile Court on a charge of delinquency by domestic violence. Deputy Travaglio’s affidavit alleges the juvenile pulled his mother’s live-in girlfriend to the ground and for no reason, began running and jumping on her, hitting her and pulled a clump of hair out of her head. With the help of others the thirty-five year old victim escaped from her attacker by twisting his thumb and kneeing him the ribs.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Robert Norton Mease Jr., age 32, 1320 Colonial Drive, Marietta, for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, a felony. Mease was arrested at his residence by Detective Hawkins of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Sep 08 at 7:35 pm.

Thomas Wayne Coe, age 55, 3011 Barth Road, Belpre, for violating the terms of a protection order, a misdemeanor. Coe was arrested at the Marietta City Police Department by Patrolman Arbaugh and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Sep 08 at 6:25 pm.

Scott Lee Carpenter, age 46, 413 ½ Third Street, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Carpenter was arrested on Front Street in Marietta by Patrolman Sury of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Sep 08 at 11:22 pm.
