On 19 Sep 08 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to Anna N. Fincham, age 20, Route 3 Box 651, Clarksburg,
WV, for traveling 64 mph in a 50 mph zone. Deputy Mankins stopped
Ms. Fincham on State Route 7 near Braun Road in Belpre Township.
On 19 Sep 08 Alicia Listerman, age 29, 7196
State Route 555, Cutler, reported while she was at work that
afternoon she believes her estranged husband entered her home,
which is a violation of a protection order she has against
him. This case remains under investigation (586).
On 19 Sep 08 Deputy Sheriff S. Travaglio conducted
a traffic stop on a vehicle whose driver he recognized as having
a suspended license. Confirming his suspicion with Dispatch,
Deputy Travaglio arrested Kyle L. Sparks, age 19, 515 Goose
Run Road, Marietta. Incident to Sparks’ arrest, Deputy
Travaglio searched the vehicle and discovered thirty-five Xanax
pills in a cellophane wrapper on the floor beneath the driver’s
seat. In addition to the driving under suspension charge, Sparks
was arrested for tampering with drugs and possession of drugs.
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
William R. Adams, age 32, 407A Four Mile Creek
Road, Coolville, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines in the sum of $519.00.
Phillip R. Carroll, age 28, 268 Homestead Drive, Williamstown,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines in the sum of $175.50.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
William Douglas West, age 49, 18191 State Route 550, Marietta,
for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. West
was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Thomas of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 19 Sep 08 at 2:25 am.
Tyler Nathaniel Bailey, age 27, 10305 State Route 550, Vincent,
for two felony counts of theft. Bailey was arrested in Marietta
by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Sep 08
at 2:30 am.
Paul Wynn Richards, age 41, 150 Harmar Street, Marietta, for
disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Richards
was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 19 Sep 08 at 2:45 am.
Kyle Leon Sparks, age 19, 515 Goose Run Road,
Marietta, for a felony charge of tampering with drugs and for
misdemeanor charges of possession of drugs, driving under an
FRA suspended license, speeding and having a defective exhaust.
Sparks was arrested on Masonic Park Road by Deputy Sheriff
S. Travaglio and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 19 Sep 08 at 4:30 pm.
John Robert Suckling, age 56, 101 Country Meadows Drive, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation and for assault, both
misdemeanors. Suckling was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman
McClelland of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 19 Sep 08 at 7:05 pm.
