On 17 Sep 08 Deputy Sheriff S. Travaglio issued
a citation to Ashley M. Neader, age 19, 276 Ridgewood Drive
Apt. H, Marietta, for driving under an FRA suspended license
and for having only one operational headlight. Deputy Travaglio
stopped Ms. Neader on State Route 821 near Millcreek Road in
Muskingum Township.
On 17 Sep 08 Deputy Sheriff Malone issued
a citation to Victor Vandall, age 66, 21401 State Route 676,
Marietta, for improper passing. Deputy Malone stopped Mr. Vandall
on State Route 676 in Warren Township.
On 17 Sep 08 Richard L. Antill, age 33, 110
Kentucky Avenue, Marietta, reported sometime during the night
an unknown suspect(s) entered his unlocked truck and stole
an ipod with a FM adapter and loose change. This case remains
under investigation (805).
On 17 Sep 08 an employee of AEP reported sometime
during the past month an unknown suspect(s) cut through the
fence of the company’s Wolf Creek substation at 3502
Wells Road in Waterford and cut thirty feet of copper wire
from the facility. This case remains under investigation (684d).
On 17 Sep 08 Lt. Huffer requested a summons
for a fifteen year old Marietta resident to appear in Juvenile
Court on a charge of delinquency by trafficking in drugs. At
Warren High School the previous day the teenager admitted bringing
twelve of his Adderall pills to school and giving six of them
to a classmate. Turning the six pills into the school office,
the same classmate found a baggy on the floor that contained
the remaining six pills and turned them in as well.
On 17 Sep 08 Deputy Sheriff Eddy issued a
citation to Cindy Stewart, age 39, 47684 TH 940, Sardis, OH,
for traveling 67 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Eddy stopped
Ms. Stewart on State Route 7 near Willow Island in Newport
Township.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Roland Dean Handschumacher, age 48, 726 Second
Street Apt. B, Marietta, for violating the terms of a protection
order, a misdemeanor. Handschumacher was arrested at his residence
by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 17 Sep 08 at 12:41 am.
Jeffery Sky Wood, age 18, Marietta, for violating
the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Wood was arrested
in Vincent by Probation Officer Hinkle and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 17 Sep 08 at 2:14 pm.
