On 16 Sep 08 Deputy Sheriff Spencer requested
a warrant for Jeffrey R. Martin, age 30, 906 17th Street, Parkersburg,
for telecommunications harassment. During numerous voice and
text messages, Mr. Martin threatened the Belpre victim’s
daughter, children and daughter’s current boyfriend.
Advised previously by Deputy Spencer to cease making the calls,
Mr. Martin cursed Deputy Spencer and continued phoning the
victim.
On 16 Sep 08 Sharon K. Handschumacher, age
41, 2685 Righteous Ridge Road, Waterford, reported receiving
several phones calls from Roland D. Handschumacher, age 48,
726 Second Street Apt. B, Marietta, which is a violation of
a protection order she has against him. Contacted at his residence,
Mr. Handschumacher admitted phoning the victim and said he
knew it was wrong to contact her. In consequence, Deputy Sheriff
Carr arrested Mr. Handschumacher for violating the terms of
a protection order and transported him to the Washington County
Jail.
On 16 Sep 08 Cynthia J. Shafer, age 31, 27360
State Route 7 Lot 10, reported around midnight an unknown male
began banging on the doors and windows of her home, yelled
about her owing him money and made a statement about burning
the trailer. This case remains under investigation (805).
On 16 Sep 08 Steven L. McCutcheon, age 24,
434 Rocky Point Road, Vincent, reported sometime between 10
pm on 14 Sep and 6:30 pm on 16 Sep an unknown suspect(s) removed
the rear bumper of his 2005 Chevy truck. This case remains
under investigation (1106).
On 16 Sep 08 Sunni L. Pritchett, age 28, 10
Browns Road Apt. 3B, Marietta, reported being involved in a
heated argument with her live-in boyfriend over the care of
their six month old child. Concluding no threat or physical
violence occurred, Deputy Sheriff McLeish closed this case
as unfounded.
On 16 Sep 08 Deputy Sheriff Eddy issued a
citation to Donald F. Woollard, age 18, 999 Barrett-South Road,
Vincent, for traveling 52 mph in a 40 mph zone. Deputy Eddy
stopped Mr. Woollard on State Route 550 in Barlow Township.
The following
individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Robert Leon Nolan Jr., age 32, 217 ½ Elm
Street, Belpre, for two felony counts of arson. Nolan was arrested
at his residence by Patrolman Jobes of the Belpre City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
16 Sep 08 at 12:28 pm.
Bennie Laverne Woods Jr., age 49, 1364 Wick Court, Columbus,
for OVI, for driving under a suspended license and for speeding,
all misdemeanors. Woods was arrested on Interstate 77 by the
Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 16 Sep 08 at 10:53 pm.
