On 8 Sep 08 Chris Drayer, age 38, 20470 State
Route 60, Beverly, reported while driving a truck along his
milk route a Lowell resident harasses him for driving too fast
even though he travels under the posted speed limit. Mr. Drayer
said he believes the suspect is also responsible for puncturing
three of his truck’s tires with roofing nails last week.
This case remains under investigation (1020).
On 8 Sep 08 an employee of Pure Water, 5309
North Street, Caldwell, reported an unknown suspect(s) entered
a building belonging to the company on State Route 821 near
milepost twenty in Macksburg. Inside the building the suspect(s)
turned on the water, causing it to eventually flow under the
door. This case remains under investigation (200).
On 8 Sep 08 Joshua M. Hendrickson, age 28,
1222 Lancaster Street, Marietta, reported sometime overnight
an unknown suspect(s) entered his unlocked Honda Civic and
removed his in dash CD player. This case remains under investigation
(1106).
On 8 Sep 08 Deputy Sheriff Carr requested
a warrant for Matthew Dowler, age 44, 798 Mayle Ridge Road,
Cutler, for domestic violence. Earlier that evening a friend
of Mr. Dowler’s live-in girlfriend Teresa Rhoades, age
38, reported Ms. Rhoades phoned her and said that Mr. Dowler
repeatedly assaulted her. Questioned about the incident, Ms.
Rhoades was uncooperative but exhibited bruises and markings
indicative of being the victim of an assault.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Robert Corey Wanzo, age 21, 2300 Hill Street,
Belpre, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
Wanzo was arrested at his residence by Probation Officer Smith
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Sep 08 at
9:56 am.
Christopher Edward Byrd, age 20, 9626 State Route 555, Cutler,
for violating the terms of his probation and for failure to
appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, both misdemeanors.
Byrd was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Sep 08 at
12:03 pm.
Jessica Lynn Stevens, age 27, Third Street, Beverly, for failure
to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor.
Stevens was arrested on Fifth Street in Beverly by Patrolman
Hunter of the Beverly Police Department and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 8 Sep 08 at 2:24 pm.
Patrick Russell Slider, age 44, 625 Tower
Road, Little Hocking, for having a weapon while under disability
and for two counts
of contempt of a court order, all felonies. Slider was picked
up in Taylor, MI by Major Warden of the Washington County
Sheriff's Office and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 8 Sep 08 at 11:08 pm.
