On 7 Sep 08 Jennifer L. Wigal, age 31, 806
Warren Avenue, Belpre, reported sometime overnight an unknown
suspect broke the door handle off her vehicle in what she believes
was a failed attempt to enter the car. This case remains under
investigation (805).
On 7 Sep 08 Deputy Sheriff Norman investigated
a possible domestic dispute involving Robert L. Metheney, age
29, 507 ½ Third Street, New Matamoras, and his live-in
girlfriend. Arguing over their son, Mr. Metheney said a projectile
inadvertently struck his girlfriend in the chest when he broke
a broom handle on a pole on the front porch. Neither party
reported being injured or was in fear for their safety, prompting
Deputy Norman to close this case as unfounded.
On 7 Sep 08 Mark E. Parsons, age 46, 9030
State Route 555, Cutler, reported being harassed and threatened
by his neighbor Jacob W. Willis, age 26, 9008 State Route 555,
Cutler. Mr. Parsons said he asked Mr. Willis to retrieve his
dog from his property because it was chasing his chickens and
Mr. Willis began yelling and attempted to provoke a fight.
Mr. Willis continued the threats as he rode his motorcycle
along the property line, yelling to Mr. Parsons that he would “bash
his face in.” As a result of the incident, Deputy Sheriff
Travaglio issued Mr. Willis a citation for disorderly conduct.
The following individual
wAS processed into the Washington County Jail:
Terrel Coy Davis, age 23, 704 Elm Street,
Belpre, for a felony charge of domestic violence and a misdemeanor
charge of violating the terms of his probation. Davis was arrested
at his residence by Patrolman Kirby of the Belpre City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
7 Sep 08 at 7:44 am.
