On 1 Sep 08 a thirteen year old Marietta resident
reported his DK BMX-style bicycle was stolen from where he
parked it while attending the fair that afternoon. The teenager
said the bike did not have a lock on it and its value is approximately
$180. This case remains under investigation (200).
On 1 Sep 08 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes arrested
Nicholas J. Adams, age 18, Walnut Drive, Whipple, for underage
consumption of alcohol. Earlier in the evening a worker on
the midway of the fair reported a teenager matching Adams’ description
was intoxicated and creating a disturbance. Questioned about
his strong odor of alcohol, Adams said he found a case of beer
along a fence and drank two or three cans from it.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Katie Anne Schulz, age 20, 26938 Kelsey Drive, Warren, MI,
for failure to reinstate her operator’s license and for
speeding, both misdemeanors. Schulz was arrested near milepost
thirteen on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Sep 08 at
11:05 am.
Nicholas Justin Adams, age 18, Walnut Drive, Whipple, for
underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Adams was arrested
at the fairgrounds by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 1 Sep 08 at 8:30 pm.
Daniel E. Hendrickson Sr., age 54, 775 Gravel Bank Road, Marietta,
for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Hendrickson
was arrested on Greene Street by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 1 Sep 08 at 9:15 pm.
Gina Marie Loy, age 20, 202 Poplar Lane, Marietta, for failure
to appear, a misdemeanor. Loy was arrested at her residence
by Patrolman Nedeff of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Sep 08 at
9:35 pm.
