On 21 Aug 08 Donald E. Grimm, age 72, 1937 Veto Road, Vincent, reported between 10:45 am and 4:30 pm an unknown suspect(s) broke into his home and garage and stole a shortwave radio and a four pound hammer. This case remains under investigation (610).

On 21 Aug 08 Crystal Hoffman, age 27, PO Box 24, Coolville, reported her ex-boyfriend Jason Criswell, age 36, 223 Antioch Road, Little Hocking, made a threatening gesture towards her while the two exchanged custody of their son. The threatening gesture, a violation of a protection order, caused Ms. Hoffman to fear for her safety due to previous occurrences with Mr. Criswell. Sgt. Alkire later arrested Mr. Criswell for violating the terms of a protection order and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

On 21 Aug 08 the Salem Volunteer Fire Department transported a fifty-eight year old Lowell resident to Marietta Memorial Hospital for injuries sustained while repairing his RV. The victim suffered injuries to his arm and torso when the RV rolled over him while he was repairing the vehicle’s sway bar (1293).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Jose Armando Lopez, age 24, 4525 Sparling Road, Waterford, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Lopez was arrested in Waterford by Deputy Sheriff Lockhart and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Aug 08 at 1:21 am.

Michael Edward McIntosh, age 43, Marietta, for breaking and entering, a felony. McIntosh was arrested in Belpre by Deputy Sheriff Anderson and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Aug 08 at 1:44 am.

Christopher Shawn McLeod, age 41, Marietta, for failure to comply with the order/signal of an officer, OVI, failure to signal, failure to dim lights, failure to reinstate his operator’s license and for not wearing a seat belt, all misdemeanors. McLeod was arrested in Oak Grove by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Aug 08 at 2:01 am.

Anthony Terrell Rembert, age 30, 3010 Camden Avenue Apt. B, Parkersburg, for menacing, a misdemeanor. Rembert was arrested at the Locker Room by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Aug 08 at 2:08 am.

Hilary Anett Rowland, age 21, 1421 Lancaster Street Apt. 102D, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Rowland was arrested at his residence by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Aug 08 at 6:13 am.

Ronald Wayne Fisher, age 33, 129 ½ E. Spring Street, Marietta, for trafficking in drugs, a felony. Fisher was picked up at the Noble Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Aug 08 at 2:26 pm.

Mark Kane Schall, age 32, 6995 State Route 329, Guysville, OH, for theft, a felony. Schall was picked up at the Pickaway Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff Reeder and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Aug 08 at 3:04 pm.

Trenton James Shriner, age 28, 749 Greene Street Apt. A, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Shriner was arrested at his residence by Probation Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Aug 08 at 4:15 pm.

Glendon Lee Crawford, age 44, 406 Fulton Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Crawford was arrested at his residence by Probation Officer Willson and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Aug 08 at 4:40 pm.

Jason Lee Criswell, age 31, 223 Antioch Road, Little Hocking, for violating the terms of his probation and for violating the terms of a protection order, both misdemeanors. Criswell was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Anderson and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Aug 08 at 7:45 pm.

Robert Michael Russell, age 19, 3275 Highland Ridge Road, Lowell, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Russell turned himself in to Deputy Sheriff Carr and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Aug 08 at 9:10 pm.
