On 29 Jul 08 Richard L. Ralston, age 59, 1080
BF Goodrich Road, Marietta, reported when he viewed his bank
account online he noticed a debit for $100 for a check he did
not write. Mr. Ralston said he believes a family member took
a check from a new book of checks that were still in the box.
This case remains under investigation (945).
On 29 Jul 08 Lt. Wilson and Deputy Sheriff
Norman were dispatched to a domestic dispute at 375 Cow Run
Road, Marietta. As soon as she awoke that morning, Ruth Sherman,
age 19, said her live-in boyfriend and father of her child,
Robert L. Lee Jr., age 19, began degrading her and yelling
at her. Ms. Sherman stated at one point Mr. Lee pinned her
against the wall by her face. During the incident Ms. Sherman
said she feared for her safety and avoided being struck in
the face when Mr. Lee swung his fist at her. Admitting he pinned
Ms. Sherman to the wall, Mr. Lee denied swinging his fist at
his girlfriend. As a result of their investigation, Deputy
Norman arrested Mr. Lee for domestic violence and transported
him to the Washington County Jail.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Robert Lonnie Lee Jr., age 19, 375 Cow Run
Road, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Lee was
arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Norman and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 29 Jul 08 at 11:00 am.
Tresa Dawn Kennedy, age 30, 1885 Main Street Apt. 3, Stockport,
for theft, a felony. Kennedy was arrested at Marietta Health
Center by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Jul 08
at 7:42 pm.
Beatrice Kaye Chidester, age 49, 210 ½ Spring Street,
Marietta, for two felony counts of assaulting a peace officer
and for misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and obstructing
official business. Chidester was arrested on Oakwood Avenue
by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Jul 08
at 11:42 pm.
