On 19 Jul 08 Deputy Sheriff Mankins arrested
Wilbert M. Lindamood, age 18, 829 Second Street, Marietta,
for .08 breath OVI and for failure to obey a traffic control
device. Not stopping at a stop light at the intersection of
Pike Street and County Club Drive, Mr. Lindamood and his seventeen
year old passenger both admitted drinking alcohol that evening.
Following his poor performance on field sobriety tests, Lindamood
was transported to the Washington County Jail where he tested
.083 BAC. The juvenile passenger was released to his parents
and will be charged through Juvenile Court.
On 19 Jul 08 a volunteer at the Little Hocking
Church of Christ, 708 Collins Road, Little Hocking, reported
sometime overnight an unknown suspect(s) broke a lock and deadbolt
to enter the church and broke the lock to church office as
well. Though nothing appears missing from the inside the volunteer
said a cordless drill was taken from under a shelter behind
the church. This case remains under investigation (790).
On 19 Jul 08 Deputy Sheriff K. Travaglio arrested
Howard J. McBrayer, age 27, 187 Marion Lane, Saint Marys, for
driving under an FRA suspended license, for possession of drugs,
possession of drug paraphernalia, for possessing an open container
of alcohol and for driving outside the marked lanes of travel.
Stopped for traveling across the centerline of State Route
7 near milepost forty-seven, Mr. McBrayer had a half empty
bottle of Lord Calvert Canadian whiskey on the floorboard on
the front passenger side of his vehicle. During a pat down
required as part of his arrest for driving under suspension,
McBrayer voluntarily removed a marijuana pipe and a small bag
of marijuana from his pocket.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Brandon Marshall Williams, age 28, 128 Franklin Street, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation and for resisting
arrest, both misdemeanors. Williams was arrested on Front Street
by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jul 08
at 5:10 am.
Teresa Denice Tilton, age 38, 12622 State Route 60, Lowell,
for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Tilton
was arrested at Marietta Memorial Hospital by Deputy Sheriff
K. Travaglio and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 19 Jul 08 at 11:58 am.
Christopher Russell McCort, age 28, 526 ½ East Bell
Avenue, McConnelsville, for violating the terms of his probation,
a misdemeanor. McCort was arrested on State Route 60 by the
Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 19 Jul 08 at 1:30 pm.

for possession
of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, for possessing
an open container of alcohol and for driving outside the marked
lanes of travel, all misdemeanors.
McBrayer was arrested on State Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff K. Travaglio and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jul 08 at 5:00 pm.
Wilbert Michael Lindamood, age 18, 829 Second Street, Marietta,
for .08 breath OVI and for failure to obey a traffic control
device, both misdemeanors. Lindamood was arrested on State
Route 821 by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 19 Jul 08 at 11:55 pm.
