On 29 Jun 08 Deputy Sheriff Carr arrested
Frederick M. Moore, age 50, 213 Barber Street, Marietta. Deputy
Carr stopped a van in which Mr. Moore was a passenger and smelled
an odor of marijuana. Following an exterior sniff of the vehicle
by Deputy Smeeks’ canine, Deputy Carr discovered a marijuana
pipe where Mr. Moore was seated.
On 29 Jun 08 an employee of Byer’s Exxon,
38175 State Route 7, Newport, reported an individual entered
the store grabbed two thirty packs of Busch beer and left the
store without paying for the items. This case remains under
investigation (107).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Gregory Alan Haas, age 46, 5093 Muskingum River Road, Lowell,
for driving under a suspended license and for having fictitious
plates, both misdemeanors. Haas was arrested on State Route
60 by Patrolman Oliver of the Beverly Police Department and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Jun 08 at 12:35
am.
Danny Lee Roland, age 48, 2717 Lottridge Road, Guysville,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Roland was picked up at the Athens county
line by Deputy Sheriff Staats and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 29 Jun 08 at 1:02 am.
Frederick Murel Moore, age 50, 213 Barber Street, Marietta,
for possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Moore
was arrested on State Route 550 by Deputy Sheriff Carr and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Jun 08 at 1:22
am.
Guy Arthur Wickham, age 24, 404 Montgomery Street, Marietta,
for OVI, criminal damaging and for possession of drug paraphernalia,
all misdemeanors. Wickham was arrested on Montgomery Street
by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 29 Jun 08 at 3:02 am.
Sandra Dianna Templeton, age 41, 405 Triplett Street, Belmont,
WV, for a felony charge of assault and for misdemeanor charges
of OVI, resisting arrest and driving left of center. Templeton
was arrested on State Route 7 by Chief Bourne of the New Matamoras
Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 29 Jun 08 at 4:29 am.
Bradley Allen Divel, age 19, 15943 State Route 555, Cutler,
for having fictitious plates, a misdemeanor. Divel was arrested
on Reeds Run Road by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 29 Jun 08 at 12:08 pm.
Veronica Lynn Dewitt, age 20, 1302 Struble Avenue, Canton,
for driving under a suspended license and for speeding, both
misdemeanors. Dewitt was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio
State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 29 Jun 08 at 6:53 pm.
Jason Leroy Williams, age 22, 20 Dye Street Apt. 1, Newport,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Williams was arrested on Gilman Avenue
in Marietta by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
29 Jun 08 at 8:10 pm.
