On 28 Jun 08 Deputy Sheriff Mankins responded
to the scene of death of a seventy-six year old Marietta resident.
The man’s death appears natural; no foul play is suspected.
On 28 Jun 08 Lorrie Seevers, age 28, 1014
Lynch Church Road, Marietta, reported two nefarious characters
appeared at her residence and were attempting to instigate
a fight with her husband. Mrs. Seevers said she was trying
to get Adam J. Hadley, age 19, Marietta, and Aaron J. Buckley,
age 21, 1200 Lynch Church Road, Marietta, to leave her property
when Hadley drew back his fist and threatened to punch her.
In the roadway when Deputy Sheriffs Simmons and Staats arrived,
Hadley and Buckley both had a strong odor of alcohol and were
unsteady on their feet. During the course of their arrests
Hadley and Buckley each had to be ordered to stop banging their
head on various parts of the cruiser in which they were seated.
As a result of the incident Hadley was charged with menacing
and underage consumption of alcohol; Buckley was charged with
disorderly conduct by intoxication.
On 28 Jun 08 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks arrested
Jeffery S. Sandbrink, age 28, 7310 Forest Lane, Nashport, OH,
for .08 breath OVI and for driving under a suspended license.
Stopped for multiple traffic infractions, Sandbrink fumbled
through papers searching for his registration and had a strong
odor of alcohol. Following his poor performance on field sobriety
tests Sandbrink was transported to the Washington County Jail.
He tested .111 BAC.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Larry Neal Fulkerson, age 56, 223 Antioch Road, Little Hocking,
for OVI, a misdemeanor. Fulkerson was arrested on US 50 near
Farson Street by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 28 Jun 08 at 12:50 am.
Michael Dean Warne, age 39, 470 Hadley Hollow Road, Marietta,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Warne was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman
Newell of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 28 Jun 08 at 1:55 am.
Stephen Lee Parish, age 40, 710 Washington Boulevard Apt.
107, Belpre, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Parish was arrested in Belpre
by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 28 Jun 08 at 2:57 pm.
Adam Joseph Hadley, age 19, Marietta, for underage consumption
of alcohol and for menacing, both misdemeanors. Hadley was
arrested on Lynch Church Road by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Jun 08 at 9:19
pm.
Aaron James Buckley, age 21, 1200 Lynch Church Road, Marietta,
for a felony charge of violating the terms of his parole and
for a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct by intoxication.
Buckley was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Simmons
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Jun 08
at 9:41 pm.
Jeffery Steven Sandbrink, age 28, 7310 Forest Lane, Nashport,
OH, for .08 breath OVI and for driving under a suspended license,
both misdemeanors. Sandbrink was arrested at his residence
by Deputy Sheriff Smeeks and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 28 Jun 08 at 10:59 pm.
