On 13 Jun 08 Robert S. Tice, age 81, 649 Greens
Run Road, Saint Marys, was backing his Ford F-150 from a space
in the Jug parking lot at 38090 State Route 7, Newport, when
he struck the front driver’s side of a parked Pontiac
G6 owned by Enterprise Rent a Car. Both vehicles sustained
light damage.
On 13 Jun 08 a fourteen year old Cutler resident
reported a grey haired male attempted to force her into his
dump truck while she was walking long State Route 555. A suspect
was detained but after the teenager failed to positively identify
him she admitted fabricating the story to get the attention
of her boyfriend. As a result, Deputy Sheriff K. Travaglio
requested a summons for the teenager to appear in Juvenile
Court on a charge of delinquency by falsification.
On 13 Jun 08 Brian Worstell, age 44, 29725
State Route 7, Marietta, reported at some point during the
last two days an unknown suspect(s) entered a safe in his bedroom
and stole over $5,000 in cash. This case remains under investigation
(500).

Lionel J. Hollingsworth, age 19, 1202 Colonial Drive, Marietta,
for domestic violence and criminal damaging on 23 Mar 08.
Richard G. Newman, age 42, 200 Pennock Drive Lot 21, Beverly,
for an act of domestic violence committed on 10 Jun 08.
Al L. Smith, age 28, 720 30th Street, Parkersburg,
for failing to appear to serve five days in jail on 27 May
08.
The following
individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Katherine Louise Edwards, age 49, 122 Harmar
Street, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered
hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Edwards was arrested
at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 13 Jun 08 at 10:10 am.
Timothy Paul Connolly, age 30, 200 Euclid Avenue, Clarksburg,
WV, for having a weapon while under disability, a felony. Connolly
was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy
Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 13 Jun 08 at 10:40 am.
Nathaniel C. Langston, age 20, 634 Monroe Street, Fairmont,
WV, for possession of drugs, a felony. Langston was picked
up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Jun 08
at 10:40 am.
Keenon Diamond Mikell, age 30, 23E Crawford
Village, McKeesport, PA, for complicity in trafficking in drugs,
a felony. Mickell
was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy
Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 13 Jun 08 at 10:40 am.
Clayton Lewis Watts, age 28, 4311 Mayfair Road, Uniontown,
OH, for possession of drugs, a felony. Watts was picked up
at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Jun 08
at 10:40 am.
Cody James Stout, age 19, 4535 Ireland Road, Coolville, for
possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Stout turned
himself in to Lt. Wilson at the Washington County Sheriff’s
Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13
Jun 08 at 11:44 am.
Linda Renee Stauffer, age 42, 410 Sixth Street, Belpre, for
trafficking in drugs, a felony. Stauffer was arrested in Belpre
by Sgt. Hiatt of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Jun 08
at 12:40 pm.
Glenn Roger Johnson, age 21, 116 Harmar Street, Marietta,
for disorderly conduct by intoxication and for failure to appear
at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, both misdemeanors.
Johnson was arrested on Franklin Street by Patrolman Arbaugh
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 13 Jun 08 at 8:44 pm.
