On 8 Jun 08 Deputy Sheriff Eddy issued a citation to Tina S. McRhea, age 47, 316 ½ Harmar Street, Marietta, for operating a vehicle with registration that expired in March 2008. Deputy Eddy stopped Ms. McRhea at the intersection of Seventh and Greene Streets in Marietta.

On 8 Jun 08 Sgt. Stackpole issued a citation to Rebecca A. Wagner, age 18, 1672 Pleasantview Drive, Lancaster, OH, for traveling 91 mph in a 55 mph zone. Sgt. Stackpole stopped Ms. Wagner on State Route 7 at Moore’s Junction in Warren Township.

On 8 Jun 08 a fifty-three year old Vincent resident reported on 10 Apr 08 a male visiting her home inappropriately touched her chest. This case remains under investigation (712).

On 8 Jun 08 Deputy Sheriff K. Travaglio issued a citation to David M. Bodie, age 31, Route 1 Box 100A, Ripley, WV, for traveling 90 mph in a 65 mph zone. Deputy Travaglio stopped Mr. Bodie near milepost five on Interstate 77 Muskingum Township.

On 8 Jun 08 Jamie Littleton, age 54, 6850 State Route 821, Whipple, reported he and a friend, who is a registered sex offender, were attacked and beaten when they arrived at a party in Lower Salem around midnight. Mr. Littleton said a group of unknown assailants called his friend a child molester and a rapist and repeatedly kicked and punched both of them. The assault required both victims to seek medical attention. This case remains under investigation (805).

On 8 Jun 08 Deputy Sheriff K. Travaglio requested summonses for Christina M. Grodhaus, age 28, and Charles E. Grodhaus, age 28, both of 530 ½ High Street, Macksburg, for disorderly conduct by fighting. Both individuals stated they had been drinking at a bowling alley all night and a shoving match ensued upon their return home.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Lois Kay Lawrence, age 55, 35475 State Route 7, Sardis, for passing bad checks, a misdemeanor. Lawrence was arrested on State Route 7 in New Matamoras by Chief Bourne of the New Matamoras Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Jun 08 at 1:20 am.

Joshua Aaron Ewers, age 19, 3585 State Route 260, New Matamoras, for underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Ewers was arrested in New Matamoras by Chief Bourne of the New Matamoras Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Jun 08 at 5:05 am.

Joshua Charles Widener, age 21, 311 Andrew Street, Corbin, KY, for driving under an FRA suspended license and for speeding, both misdemeanors. Widener was arrested near milepost six on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Jun 08 at 6:30 am.

Jamie Christopher Waters, age 36, 14002 State Route 339, Watertown, for failure to appear, possession of drugs, for being in possession of an open container of alcohol and for disorderly conduct by intoxication, all misdemeanors. Waters was arrested in Beverly by Patrolman Sams of the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Jun 08 at 6:40 am.

Lisa Jane Auman, age 45, 907 Washington Street, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Auman was arrested at her residence by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Jun 08 at 8:16 pm.
