On 2 Jun 08 Amy C. Marshall, age 31, 740 Dugan
Road, Belpre, reported between 8:45 am and 1:30 pm an unknown
suspect(s) broke in via the front door and stole an antique
.22 caliber rifle, her prescription bottle of Percocet, a gold
watch and over $250 in cash. This case remains under investigation
(1106).
On 2 Jun 08 the manger of Par Mar #2, 8600
State Route 339, Vincent, reported she viewed surveillance
footage during which she observed three teenaged males placing
energy pills, candy bars, ice cream bars and other items in
their pockets and leaving the store without paying for the
$50 worth of items. This case remains under investigation (805).
On 2 Jun 08 Sgt. Brockmeier requested a summons
for a sixteen year old Fleming resident to appear in Juvenile
Court on a charge of delinquency by inducing panic. The charges
follow an incident reported by the assistant principal at Warren
High School on 30 May when a student activated a fire alarm.
Remorseful and upset over his actions, the teenager said he
pulled a fire alarm because his friends bet him he wouldn’t
do it.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Christopher Michael Wolfe, age 30, 1323 40th Street, Parkersburg,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Wolfe was arrested near the Williamstown
Bridge by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 2 Jun 08 at 2:59 am.
Doming Mitchael Morales, age 34, 662 Fire Tower Road, Cottle,
WV, for operating a vehicle without a license, for speeding
and for not wearing a seat belt, all misdemeanors. Morales
was arrested on State Route 60 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Jun 08 at
5:10 am.
Wayne Anthony Rhodes, age 19, 820 Mill Branch Road, Belpre,
for a felony charge of receiving stolen property and for a
misdemeanor charge of assault. Rhodes was arrested in Belpre
by Patrolman Stump of the Belpre City Police Department and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Jun 08 at 6:40
am.
Brian Russell Morgan Jr., age 25, 106 Twila
Court, Marietta, for felony charges of domestic violence and
violating the terms of his parole and for a misdemeanor charge
of assault. Morgan turned himself in to Deputy Sheriff Malone
and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Jun
08 at 10:55 am.
Matthew James Cornell, age 24, 704 Elm Street Apt. 10, Belpre,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Cornell
was arrested on State Route 7 by Probation Officer Brockmeier
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Jun 08 at
1:39 pm.
Hank Allan Wells, age 20, 9299 State Route 555, Cutler, for
aggravated vehicular assault and for failure to comply with
the order/signal of an officer, both felonies. Wells was picked
up at the Noble Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff
O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 2 Jun 08 at 3:18 pm.
Raymond Lee Mankins Jr., age 40, State Route 60, Lowell, for
contempt of a court order, a misdemeanor. Mankins was arrested
on State Route 821 by Sgt. Brockmeier of the Washington County
Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 2 Jun 08 at 4:00 pm.
Anthony Eugene Boswell, age 27, 420 Franklin Street, Nelsonville,
for a felony charge of theft and for a misdemeanor charge of
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines.
Boswell was picked up in Nelsonville by Patrolman Fields of
the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 2 Jun 08 at 5:39 pm.
