On 26 May 08 Sherrie Lee, age 40, 104 Wooster
Street, Marietta, reported a neighbor next to her deceased
father in law’s home at 830 Silver Globe Road, Marietta,
informed her that a male driving a white truck removed several
items from the property. Further investigation revealed another
family member gave the suspect permission to remove the items
and that this case is a civil matter (790).
On 26 May 08 Deputy Sheriff Travaglio arrested
Robert W. Barringer, age 22, 1204 County House Lane Apt. H,
Marietta, for possession of drugs and for possession of drug
paraphernalia. Patting down Mr. Barringer for weapons, Deputy
Travaglio smelled burnt marijuana and felt a hard object in
Barringer’s pocket. Mr. Barringer produced a marijuana
pipe a bag of marijuana and said he smoked marijuana just prior
to encountering Deputy Travaglio. As a result, Deputy Travaglio
arrested Mr. Barringer for possession of drugs and possession
of drug paraphernalia and transported him to the Washington
County Jail.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Cody Allen Baters, age 20, 44493 State Route 7, Clarington,
for underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Baters
was arrested in New Matamoras by Chief Bourne of the New Matamoras
Police Department and was processed into the Washington County
Jail on 26 May 08 at 12:15 am.
Matthew David Kinsey, age 20, 42077 Trail Run Road, New Matamoras,
for .02 breath underage OVI and for underage consumption of
alcohol, both misdemeanors. Kinsey was arrested in New Matamoras
by Chief Bourne of the New Matamoras Police Department and
was processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 May 08
at 12:15 am.
John Daniel Davis III, age 32, 11277 State Route 555, Cutler,
for driving under a suspended license and for possession of
drugs, both misdemeanors. Davis was arrested near milepost
three on State Route 555 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 May 08 at 6:40
pm.
Russell Sean Haverty, age 38, 264 Radabaugh Road, Marietta,
for disorderly conduct by fighting, a misdemeanor. Haverty
was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 26 May 08 at 7:10 pm.

drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors. Barringer was arrested
on County House Lane by Deputy Sheriff S. Travaglio and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 26 May 08 at 11:20 pm.
