On 23 May 08 Deputy Sheriff Eddy investigated
a potential domestic dispute involving Mary Jane Blondel, age
47, 102 Skyvue Circle, Marietta, and her husband. Deputy Eddy
determined the dispute was strictly verbal and that no threat
or physical violence occurred.
On 23 May 08 Mark T. DuBeck, age 48, 955 Wheeling
Avenue, Cambridge, reported sometime during the night an unknown
suspect entered a garage on his property at 34210 State Route
7, Newport, and stole several tools. Stolen at a loss of $3,000
were a table saw, a vacuum, a generator, a band saw, a router
and a radial arm saw. This case remains under investigation
(1184).
On 23 May 08 Mary A. Dellinger, age 64, 7446
State Route 26, Marietta, reported an unknown suspect(s) open
and twisted the fuel door on her Ford Escape while it was parked
at the Reno Community Center between 7 pm and 9:30 pm that
evening. This case remains under investigation (1184).
On 23 May 08 Deputy Sheriff S. Travaglio requested
a summons for a twelve year old Lowell resident to appear in
Juvenile Court for being unruly. The boy’s custodial
grandmother reported the juvenile is out of control and constantly
refuses to obey the simplest of requests.
On 23 May 08 Stacy Hendrickson, age 25, 40
Dye Street, Newport, reported sometime during the night an
unknown suspect(s) punctured all four of the tires on her Jeep
Cherokee. This case remains under investigation (500).
On 23 May 08 Deputy Sheriff Eddy along with
fire departments from Lower Salem, Muskingum and Fearing Townships
were dispatched to a garage fire at 4285 Duck Creek Road, Lower
Salem. Successfully extinguished, the blaze damaged a 1989
Dodge Dakota, a 1997 Mazda 626 and a 1993 Nissan Altima. The
state Fire Marshall’s Office will conduct further investigation
in this incident.
On 23 May 08 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes issued
a citation to Reed M. Joyce, age 19, 73 Glencoe Street, Belpre,
for traveling 80 mph in a 60 mph zone. Deputy Rhodes stopped
Mr. Joyce on US 50 near Arrowhead Road in Belpre Township.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Shaun Allen Griffin, age 24, 403 Lord Street,
Marietta, for felony charges of violating the terms of his
probation and breaking and entering and for two misdemeanor
counts of theft. Griffin was arrested on Goose Run Road by
Deputy Sheriff Eddy and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 23 May 08 at 7:15 am.
Kyle Leon Sparks, age 19, 515 Goose Run Road,
Marietta, for a felony charge of breaking and entering and
for misdemeanor charges of theft, underage consumption of alcohol
and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Sparks was arrested
on Virginia Street by Deputy Sheriff Eddy and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 23 May 08 at 11:40 am.
Buddy Allen Miller, age 34, 708 50th Street, Bradenton, FL,
for a felony charge of domestic violence and for a misdemeanor
charge of contempt. Miller was arrested on Putnam Street by
Patrolman Walters of the Marietta City Police Department and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 May 08 at 12:48
pm.
Jesse Scott Books, age 25, 207 Barber Street, Marietta, for
theft, a misdemeanor. Books was arrested at his residence by
Patrolman Walters of the Marietta City Police Department and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 May 08 at 4:11
pm.
Amy Suzzanne Farnsworth, age 21, 207 Barber Street, Marietta,
for theft, a misdemeanor. Farnsworth was arrested at her residence
by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 May 08
at 4:36 pm.
Kenneth A. Casada Jr., age 25, 3719 Blue Knob Road Apt. 3,
Marietta, for violating the terms of a protection order, a
misdemeanor. Casada turned himself in to Lt. Coppernoll at
the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed
into the Washington County Jail on 23 May 08 at 5:07 pm.
Ronnal Antwon White, age 26, 3383 113th Street, Cleveland,
for possession of drugs and for possession of drug paraphernalia,
both misdemeanors. White was arrested in Muskingum Township
by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 23 May 08 at 8:00 pm.
Marcus Andrew Randle, age 24, 7311 Garden Valley Apt. 5, Cleveland,
for failure to reinstate his operator’s license and for
speeding, both misdemeanors. Randle was arrested in Muskingum
Township by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 23 May 08 at 8:10 pm.
Romen Zachary Vandall, age 25, 124 Gilman Avenue, Marietta,
for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Vandall
was arrested at the Four Seasons in Marietta by Patrolman Wenzel
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 23 May 08 at 9:35 pm.
Adam Troy Patterson, age 35, 174 Main Street, McConnelsville,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Patterson
was picked up at the Morgan County line by Deputy Sheriff Travaglio
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 May 08
at 9:59 pm.
