On 20 May 08 Deputy Sheriff Carr issued a
citation to Erik W. Sims, age 40, 10635 State Route 339, Vincent,
for traveling 74 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Carr stopped
Mr. Sims on State Route 550 near milepost four in Wesley Township.
On 20 May 08 Deputies responded to a domestic
dispute at the residence of Kathy Gaskins, age 35, at 1936
Mill Branch Road, Belpre. Ms. Gaskins reported even though
she has a protection order against him from a previous domestic
incident, that Richard Gill, age 46, has been living with her
for over a week. Around 5:30 that afternoon Ms. Gaskins said
Mr. Gill was intoxicated, threw her into a wall, threw boxes
at her and tried to hit her teenage daughter. When the Deputies
arrived, they located Mr. Gill hiding in the home’s attic
underneath insulation. Mr. Gill repeatedly refused to leave
his lair but was later arrested for felony charges of domestic
violence and violating a protection order and for a misdemeanor
charge of resisting arrest.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Tabitha Dawn Way, age 26, 12786 State Route 676, Waterford,
for two misdemeanor counts of theft. Way was arrested at her
residence by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 20 May 08 at 12:09 am.
Jason Eric Waggy, age 22, 5242 State Route 262, Stockport,
for OVI, failure to signal and for failure to obey the right
of way, all misdemeanors. Waggy was arrested on State Route
60 by Patrolman Hunter of the Beverly Police Department and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 May 08 at 3:24
am.
Paula Lynne Hadley, age 44, 1235 County House
Lane, Marietta, for tampering with evidence, a felony. Hadley
was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 May 08 at 9:31
am.
Brandon Marshall Williams, age 28, 128 Franklin Street, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Williams
was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 May 08
at 9:44 am.
Brian Ray Ackley, age 30, 12824 State Route 13, Athens, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines,
a misdemeanor. Ackley was picked up in Nelsonville by Deputy
Sheriff Reeder and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 20 May 08 at 3:14 pm.
Richard Daniel Gill, age 46, 1936 Mill Branch Road, Belpre,
for felony charges of domestic violence and violating the terms
of a protection order and for misdemeanor charges of violating
the terms of his probation and resisting arrest. Gill was arrested
at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 20 May 08 at 5:45 pm.
Brandon Wayne Abram, age 20, 1207 County House Lane Apt. F,
Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Abram was arrested at Rivercrest
Apartments by Deputy Sheriff Travaglio and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 20 May 08 at 10:30 pm.
Noal Damiona Quattlebaum, age 21, 85 Lang Farm Road, Marietta,
for domestic violence, a felony. Quattlebaum was arrested at
his residence by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 20 May 08 at 10:50 pm.
Marty Lewan Bass, age 38, 702 Franklin Avenue, Belpre, for
domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Bass was arrested on Market
Street in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 20 May 08 at 11:25 pm.
