On 12 May 08 Deputy Sheriff Carr issued a
citation to Alicia L. Guinn, age 26, 3914 Webb Lane, Stockport,
for traveling 46 mph in a 20 mph school zone. Deputy Carr stopped
Ms. Guinn on State Route 339 near Waterford Elementary School
in Waterford Township.
On 12 May 08 Christopher C. Kleinert, age
23, 727 Center Street, Beverly, reported he encountered vehicle
problem’s while driving his sister’s truck on State
Route 60 and parked the vehicle along the road the afternoon
of 7 May 08. After his sister checked the vehicle that morning
and found the passenger side window broken, Mr. Kleinert said
a Makita electric buffer is missing from the truck’s
cab. This case remains under investigation (1184).
On 12 Deputy Sheriff Lockhart arrested Jason
J. Haught, age 28, 810 Lee Street, Belpre, for driving under
a suspended license, for possession of drugs and for possession
of drug paraphernalia. Stopped on State Route 7 for having
an inoperable license plate light, Mr. Haught exited his vehicle
and screamed at Deputy Lockhart, “why the hell are you
pulling me over?” Lucky he was not arrested for disorderly
conduct, Mr. Haught had a marijuana pipe and bag of marijuana
under the driver’s seat in his vehicle.
On 12 May 08 Deputy Sheriff Malone requested
a summons for Jennifer Thornton, age 35, 311 King Avenue, Cutler,
for disorderly conduct. Deputy Malone’s affidavit alleges
Ms. Thornton yelled at and spit in the faces of two neighbors
because they phoned the Dog Warden about her boyfriend’s
loose dog.

Office received the following warrants:
David W. Floyd, age 37, 907 Hocking Road,
Belpre, for failing to appear for a hearing on 7 May 08.
Denzel M. Jeffers, age 23, 836 Pike Street Apt. 16, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation by failing to show
proof of completing twenty-four hours of community service.
Garland D. Randolph III, age 43, 1010 Bethel Road, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation by failing to show
proof of completing twenty-four hours of community service.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Jason Scott O’Donnell, age 27, 1913
Washington Boulevard Lot A, Belpre, for violating the terms
of his probation, a misdemeanor. O’Donnell was arrested
at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 12 May 08 at 1:50 am.
David Lee Perine, age 23, 1308 Williamson
Avenue, New Matamoras, for theft and forgery, both felonies.
Perine was picked up at the Noble Correctional Institution
by Deputy Sheriff Reeder and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 12 May 08 at 3:20 pm.
James Scott Goodnow, age 37, 309 Fifth Street, Williamstown,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Goodnow
was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 May 08
at 4:30 pm.
Garland D. Randolph III, age 43, 1010 Bethel Road, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Randolph
was arrested at a residence on Blue Knob Road by Deputy Sheriff
Carr and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 May
08 at 5:30 pm.
Douglas Dean Stephens, age 49, 295 Warrior Drive, Vincent,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Stephens
was arrested at his residence by Probation Officer Brockmeier
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 May 08
at 6:56 pm.
