On 27 Apr 08 Deputy Sheriff Anderson issued
a citation to Jennifer D. Kiggans, age 34, 35585 State Route
7, Newport, for operating a vehicle with plates that expired
in July 2007. Deputy Anderson stopped Ms. Kiggans on State
Route 7 near milepost thirty in Marietta Township.
On 27 Apr 08 Deputy Sheriff Anderson issued
a citation to Mark R. Driscoll, age 47, 51664 Glencoe Street,
Jacobsburg, OH, for driving on a closed road. Deputy Anderson
stopped Mr. Driscoll on closed section of State Route 7 in
Independence Township.
On 27 Apr 08 Timothy Wines, age 37, 20330
State Route 60, Beverly, reported a truck he is repairing for
a friend was stolen from his residence between 9 am and 4 pm
that day. Though the vehicle was recovered in Morgan County,
this case remains under investigation (586).
On 27 Apr 08 Deputy Sheriff Travaglio arrested
Emmanuel L. Ramirez, age 30, 155 Carriage Lane, Saint Marys,
for OVI, operating a vehicle without a license, driving outside
the marked lanes of travel and having an inoperable license
plate light. Noticing Mr. Ramirez traveling at 15 mph and unable
to read his license plate, Deputy Travaglio conducted the traffic
stop on Front Street in Marietta. Lopez could not produce a
driver’s license, had an odor of alcohol and slurred
his speech when answering questions. Following his poor performance
on field sobriety tests, Lopez was transported to the Washington
County Jail where he tested .154 BAC.
On 27 Apr 08 Amber L. Wesley, age 21, 85 Lang
Farm Road, Marietta, reported during an argument over money
her live-in boyfriend Noal Quattlebaum, age 21, punched her
in the face. Ms. Wesley said Mr. Quattlebaum punched her after
she yelled at him for using her debit card to buy alcohol and
cigarettes for himself instead of items for their kids. Quattlebaum
was gone when Deputy Sheriff Lockhart arrived at the scene;
therefore he requested a warrant for Quattlebaum for domestic
violence.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Jeremy Scott Jewell, age 19, 3808 Todd Lane, Wooster, OH,
for underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Jewell
was arrested on the camps of Marietta College by Officer Lumpkins
of the Marietta College Police Department and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 27 Apr 08 at 12:20 am.
William Joseph Carter Sr., age 23, 1101 Cisler Lane, Marietta,
for a felony charge of domestic violence and for misdemeanor
charges of domestic violence and violating the terms of his
probation. Carter was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Warden
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 27 Apr 08 at 12:55 am.
Phillip A. Templeton, age 42, 405 ½ Maple Street, Grandville,
OH, for OVI, a misdemeanor. Templeton was arrested on State
Route 550 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 27 Apr 08 at 2:20 am.
Emmanuel Lopez Ramirez, age 30, 155 Carriage Lane, Saint Marys,
for a felony charge of being an illegal alien and for misdemeanor
charges of OVI, operating a vehicle without a license, driving
outside the marked lanes of travel and having an inoperable
license plate light. Ramirez was arrested on Front Street in
Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Travaglio and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 27 Apr 08 at 3:00 am.
Jason Lee Bartimus, age 32, 2228 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Bartimus was arrested at his residence
by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 27 Apr 08 at 10:30 am.
Eric Lee Williams, age 34, 609 ½ Wooster Street, Marietta,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Williams was arrested at his residence
by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 27 Apr 08 at 12:20 pm.
Steven Lee Sealey Jr., age 29, 4667 Welch Road, Little Hocking,
for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Sealey was arrested at
his residence by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 27 Apr 08 at 4:45 pm.
Gary Aaron Demoss, age 33, 17995 State Route 26, Reno, for
violating the terms of a protection order, a misdemeanor. Demoss
was arrested on Elizabeth Street in Belpre by Patrolman Fields
of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 27 Apr 08 at 10:45 pm.
