On 17 Apr 08 Deputy Sheriff Norman issued
a minor misdemeanor citation to Jason E. Wolfe, age 33, 836
Pike Street Apt. 3, Marietta, for disorderly conduct. Deputy
Norman responded twice to Mr. Wolfe’s apartment complex
after receiving reports of extremely loud music. Though Mr.
Wolfe said he would turn the music down at 2 am, Deputy Norman
returned at 4 am and again heard loud music.
On 17 Apr 08 Deputy Sheriff Travaglio arrested
Jules R. Casto, age 43, 1814 State Route 339, Waterford, for
possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and for
driving under a suspended license. Noticing Mr. Casto in a
parked vehicle lighting what appeared to be a pipe, Deputy
Travaglio contacted Mr. Casto on Hart Street in Marietta. When
he searched the vehicle after placing Casto in custody for
driving under suspension, Deputy Travaglio discovered a bag
of crack cocaine, a crack pipe and copper mesh commonly used
in crack pipes.
On 17 Apr 08 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes assisted
the Beverly Police Department in a traffic stop during which
several Scheduled narcotics available only with a prescription
were discovered. An interview of the vehicle’s passenger
revealed the driver, James J. Lowers, age 29, 70 Main Street,
Waterford, entered his father’s residence at 420 East
Branch Road in Lowell and stole two Fentanyl patches and a
number of morphine and Vicodin pills. Mr. Lowers refused to
give a statement but was arrested for burglary after his father
stated he did not give his son permission to enter his locked
residence.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Justin Kyle Wendelken, age 19, 173 Blue Spruce
Road, Parkersburg, for .02 breath underage OVI, for operating
with an expired license and for following too closely, all
misdemeanors. Wendelken was arrested on Pike Street in Marietta
by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 17 Apr 08 at 3:41 am.
Melissa Kristine Burd, age 28, 713 Division
Street Apt. 6, Parkersburg, for violating the terms of her
probation, a misdemeanor. Burd was arrested at the office of
Probation Officer Ferrell and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 17 Apr 08 at 5:27 pm.
Arlene Mae West, age 18, 300 Fourth Street Apt. 12, Marietta,
for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. West
was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Zimmerman and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Apr 08 at 5:36
pm.
Jules Randall Casto, age 43, 1814 State Route 339, Waterford,
for a felony charge of possession of drugs and misdemeanor
charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under
a suspended license and operating a vehicle with fictitious
plates. Casto was arrested in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Travaglio
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Apr 08
at 6:00 pm.
Camille Lynn Gazzale, age 29, 4135 Highland Ridge Road, Lowell,
for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Gazzale
was arrested at her residence by Probation Officer Brockmeier
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Apr 08
at 6:33 pm.
Ronald Wayne Gilbert, age 43, 2470 Pleasant Ridge Road, Marietta,
for domestic violence, a felony. Gilbert was arrested in Marietta
by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Apr 08
at 7:15 pm.
Kevin Wesley Houck, age 25, 1915 Silver Globe Road, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Houck
was arrested at his residence by Probation Officer Brockmeier
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Apr 08
at 9:33 pm.
James Justin Lowers, age 29, 70 Main Street, Waterford, for
felony charges of complicity in committing burglary and possession
of drugs and for misdemeanor charges of possession of drugs,
possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding and operating a
vehicle with fictitious plates. Lowers was arrested in Beverly
by Patrolman Oliver of the Beverly Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 17 Apr 08 at 9:44 pm.
