On 16 Apr 08 Jacqueline Biggs, age 37, 1873
Highland Ridge Road, reported a bullet was shot through the
wall of her residence, struck a microwave and came to rest
near the kitchen sink. Further investigation indicated neighboring
individuals were target shooting at a log when a bullet ricocheted
and struck the Biggs residence. Though Ms. Biggs declined to
pursue chargers due to the accidental nature, this case will
be forwarded to the Law Director’s office for possible
charges.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Justin Fitzgerald Batten, age 19, Marietta,
for passing bad checks, failure to appear and for failure to
appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, all misdemeanors.
Batten was arrested at the Lodge Inn in Belpre by Patrolman
Stump of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 16 Apr 08 at 12:51 am.
Aaron Matthew Hess, age 29, 610 Warren Street,
Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Hess was picked
up at the Noble Correctional Institution by Corrections Officer
Farrell and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16
Apr 08 at 4:27 pm.
Kelly Duane Beaver, age 49, 819 Ridge Street, Marietta, for
possession of drugs and for possession of drug paraphernalia,
both misdemeanors. Beaver was arrested at his residence by
Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Apr 08 at 7:22
pm.
Kevin James McRhea, age 37, 423 Williams Avenue, Williamstown,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. McRhea was arrested on Ridge Street in
Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Apr 08
at 7:30 pm.
Jodie Lynn Grimes, New Matamoras, for failure to appear and
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, both misdemeanors. Grimes was arrested on Williamson
Avenue in New Matamoras by Chief Bourne of the New Matamoras
Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 16 Apr 08 at 9:31 pm.
