On 14 Apr 08 Joshua D. Giffin, age 25, 27323
State Route 7, Marietta, reported an unknown individual used
his checking account information to pay a charge of $49.80
to DirecTV on 21 Mar 08. This case remains under investigation
(610).
On 14 Apr 08 a trustee at the United Methodist
Church at 370 Main Street in Waterford reported an unknown
suspect broke a pane of tempered glass that was protecting
the church’s invaluable stained glass window. This case
remains under investigation (790).
On 14 Apr 08 Lt. Huffer and Deputy Sheriff
Mankins investigated reports of subjects arguing and causing
a disturbance at 134 Whipkey Drive in Waterford. At the residence
the Deputies found Shawn N. Bonar, age 32, who is forbidden
to be at the residence due to a protection order his wife has
against him. Mr. Bonar stated his attorney had the order modified
to allow him access to the residence but Deputy Mankins could
not verify Mr. Bonar’s claim. As a result, Deputy Mankins
arrested Mr. Bonar for violating the terms of a protection
order and transported him to the Washington County Jail.
On 14 Apr 08 Jeff Schilling, age 42, 260 Ray
Harr Road, Beverly, reported when he received his statement
for his Marathon gas card he noticed the card was used on three
occasions without his permission and amassed $64.07 in charges.
This case remains under investigation (610).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Timothy Phillip Ferrell, age 31, 2093 Cameron
Hollow Road, New Cumberland, WV, for driving under a suspended
license and for possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.
Ferrell was arrested near milepost twenty-four on State Route
7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 14 Apr 08 at 1:45 am.
Johnny Lee Emerick, age 44, 613 Eighth Street
Apt. 4, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation,
a misdemeanor. Emerick was arrested at the office of Probation
Officer Hamilton and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 14 Apr 08 at 2:00 pm.
Glen Allen Starling, age 20, 4609 Green Shanty Road Apt. C,
Ooltwah, TN, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Starling turned himself in
at the Sheriff’s Office to Deputy Sheriff Anderson and
was processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Apr 08
at 3:05 pm.
Jeremy Lee Moore, age 29, 319 Main Street Apt. 3, Urbana,
OH, for a felony charge of trafficking in drugs and for a misdemeanor
charge of failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines. Moore was picked up at the Logan County jail by Deputy
Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 14 Apr 08 at 4:28 pm.
Clyde Leroy Rutter, age 40, 21 Third Street, The Plains, for
driving under a twelve point suspended license, a misdemeanor.
Rutter was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by
Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 14 Apr 08 at 5:39 pm.
Shawn Norman Bonar, age 32, 134 Whipkey Drive, Waterford,
for violating the terms of a protection order, a misdemeanor.
Bonar was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Mankins
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Apr 08
at 8:00 pm.
Chad Everett McNabb, age 35, 216 Sixth Street, Beverly, for
violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. McNabb
was arrested at his residence by Probation Officer Brockmeier
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Apr 08
at 9:01 pm.
