On 2 Apr 08 Deputy Sheriff Travaglio arrested
Randy R. Norris Jr., age 19, 1460 State Route 676, Stockport,
for OVI, failure to signal and for underage consumption of
alcohol. Failing to signal when turning from Second Street
onto Greene Street in Marietta, Mr. Norris had a strong odor
of alcohol and glossy, bloodshot eyes. Mr. Norris admitted
drinking at a bar in Marietta that evening and agreed to perform
field sobriety tests. Following his poor performance on field
sobriety tests, Mr. Norris was transported to the Washington
County Jail where he tested .168 BAC.
On 2 Apr 08 Deidra L. Oliver, age 44, 1462
East Branch Road, Lowell, reported a nine year old Lowell Elementary
student slapped her three times. Ms. Oliver, who is a school
bus aide, said the nine year old was using inappropriate language
on the bus so she ordered him to sit across from her in the
front seat. The juvenile refused to calm down and slapped Ms.
Oliver. Ms. Oliver declined to pursue charges, for the school
will mete out discipline (1184).
On 2 Apr 08 Patricia A. Bonar, age 31, 134
Whipkey Drive, Waterford, reported the previous evening her
husband Shawn, age 32, hit her in the stomach and arms with
a dog chain and also grabbed her by the hair and threw her
onto a bed. Substantiating Ms. Bonar’s claim by viewing
bruising to her arm and stomach, Deputy Sheriff Malone requested
a warrant for Mr. Bonar for domestic violence. Bonar was found
at his residence the following day, arrested for the charge
and transported to the Washington County Jail.

were processed into the Washington County Jail:

on Greene Street in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Travaglio and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Apr 08 at 2:08
am.
Troy Eugene McKown, age 25, 165 Dodd Run Road,
Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
McKown was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Hamilton
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Apr 08 at
9:20 am.
Timothy O’Neill Northrop, age 45, 3209 King Ridge Road,
Saint Marys, for illegal possession of drug assembly chemicals,
a felony. Northrop was picked up in Saint Marys by Deputy Sheriff
O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 2 Apr 08 at 9:44 am.
Justin Allen Mullins, age
20, PO Box 251, Betsy Layne, KY, for receiving stolen property,
a felony.
Mullins was picked up in Pike County by Deputy Sheriff Doak
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Apr 08
at 2:06 pm.
Mark Alan Haslam, age 26, 42990 Long Ridge Road, Clarington,
OH, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
Haslam was picked up at the Belmont County Jail by Deputy Sheriff
O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 2 Apr 08 at 3:07 pm.
Steven Dale Kirkpatrick, age 25, 7450 Township Road 177, Bloomingdale,
OH, for failure to appear and for domestic violence, both misdemeanors.
Kirkpatrick was picked up in Jefferson County by Deputy Sheriff
O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 2 Apr 08 at 3:21 pm.
