On 30 Mar 08 Deputy Sheriff Anderson issued
a minor misdemeanor citation to Christopher L. Byrd, age 19,
9626 State Route 555, Cutler, for disorderly conduct by intoxication.
Byrd’s father phoned for assistance after his son arrived
home drunk and engaged his parents in an argument over his
female companion. During the argument Byrd broke a window and
knocked over a shelf at the residence.
On 30 Mar 08 Deputy Travaglio investigated
reports of a disturbance at either the trailer or neighboring
camper at 401 Third Street in Macksburg. When questioned, the
parties involved in the dispute, Clifton D. Collins, age 27,
340 Harriett Street, and the camper’s resident, Christy
L. Smith, age 25, denied any altercation occurred. Under further
interrogation, Ms. Smith lied about her eleven year old son
being alone in the presence of Collins, who is a registered
sex offender. Collins denied it as well but later recanted
and further admitted smoking crack and stated there was a crack
pipe in the camper. As a result, Collins was arrested for possession
of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing
official business. Also arrested, Smith was charged with tampering
with drugs, obstructing official business, endangering children,
possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. In
her possession, Smith had Xanax, Vicodin pills and a straw
she admitted she used to snort crushed pills.
On 30 Mar 08 Deputy Sheriff Travaglio arrested
Deryl E. Wilson Jr., age 38, 936 Fifth Street, Marietta, for
possession of drugs, driving outside the marked lanes of travel
and driving under an FRA suspended license. Knowing Mr. Wilson
had a suspended license through earlier interactions, Deputy
Travaglio observed Mr. Wilson’s vehicle travel partial
on the grass to the side of the roadway and conducted a traffic
stop on State Route 7 near Millers Lane. During the stop Deputy
Travaglio noticed a green pill on the floorboard that he later
identified as the Schedule IV drug Klonopin.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Daniel Preston Edwards, age 37, 911 Fourth Street, Marietta,
for driving under an FRA suspended license and for speeding,
both misdemeanors. Edwards was arrested on State Route 60 by
Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 30 Mar 08 at 12:40 am.
Kristi Lynn Neace, age 40, 122 Tennis Center Drive Apt. 9,
Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation, a felony.
Neace was arrested on State Route 7 near Millers Lane by Deputy
Sheriff Travaglio and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 30 Mar 08 at 2:30 am.
Deryl Edward Wilson Jr., age 38, 936 Fifth Street, Marietta,
for a felony charge of violating the terms of his probation
and for misdemeanor charges of possession of drugs, driving
outside the marked lanes of travel and driving under an FRA
suspended license. Wilson was arrested on State Route 7 near
Millers Lane by Deputy Sheriff Travaglio and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 30 Mar 08 at 2:40 am.
Timothy Richard Holtz, age 48, 736 Seventh Street, Marietta,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Holtz was arrested at
his residence by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
30 Mar 08 at 5:00 am.
Christy Lynn Smith, age 25, 401 Third Street, Macksburg, for
a felony charge of tampering with drugs and for misdemeanor
charges of obstructing official business, endangering children,
possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Smith
was arrested in Macksburg by Deputy Sheriff Travaglio and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 30 Mar 08 at 7:00 am.
Clifton Dwayne Collins, age 27, 340 Harriett Street, Macksburg,
for felony charges of violating the terms of his parole and
possession of drugs and for misdemeanor charges of possession
of drug paraphernalia and obstructing official business. Collins
was arrested at his residence by Probation Officer Smith and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Mar 08 at 7:10
am.
Troy Clinton Jonas, age 43, Marietta, for disorderly conduct
and for criminal trespassing, both misdemeanors. Jonas was
arrested at Selby Hospital by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 30 Mar 08 at 11:25 pm.
Clarence A. Wriston III, age 33, Marietta, for a felony charge
of domestic violence and for misdemeanor charges of failure
to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines and possession
of drugs. Wriston was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff
Carr and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Mar
08 at 11:45 pm.
