On 29 Mar 08 an employee of the Lowell Duchess,
100 Main Street, Lowell, reported there was an intoxicated
male in the store, yelling and creating a disturbance. Interviewed
by Deputy Sheriff Carr, the suspect, identified as Troy C.
Jonas, age 43, Marietta, state he drank a pint of Black Velvet
whiskey and smoked marijuana that day. Mr. Jonas also stated
he was homeless and had nowhere else to go. As a result, Deputy
Carr arrested Mr. Jonas for disorderly conduct by intoxication
and transported him to the Washington County Jail.
On 29 Mar 08 John Ross, age 30, 103 Woodcrest
Lane, Marietta, reported his high blood pressure medication
was stolen while he and his wife were away from their residence
overnight. This case remains under investigation (500).
On 29 Mar 08 Deputy Sheriff Lockhart issued
a citation to Edward J. Semple, age 50, 1527 Burgettstown,
PA, for traveling 78 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Lockhart
stopped Mr. Semple on State Route 7 near Joe Skinner Road in
Warren Township.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Janerio Ricardo Dilo, age 25, 326 Newton Avenue Apt. D, Newark,
for fishing without a license, for violating the terms of his
probation and for failure to appear, all misdemeanors. Dilo
was arrested in Lowell by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Mar 08 at 3:10
pm.
Troy Clinton Jonas, age 43, Marietta, for disorderly conduct
by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Jonas was arrested on Main
Street in Lowell by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 29 Mar 08 at 11:00 pm.
