On 11 Mar 08 Robert Alloway, age 51, 1505
Mill Branch Road, Belpre, reported around midnight an unknown
suspect driving a small pickup truck stole an aluminum semi-trailer
wheel rim from a scrap pile in his yard. This case remains
under investigation (515).
On 11 Mar 08 a two vehicle collision involving
two seventeen year old Warren High School students occurred
near an entrance to the school at 174 Warrior Drive, Vincent.
The driver of a Mercury Cougar struck the left bumper of a
Toyota Rav 4 stopped in traffic in front of him. Both vehicles
sustained non-functional damage; no injuries were reported
(905).
On 11 Mar 08 Deputy Sheriff Spencer responded
to the scene of death of a sixty-four year old Marietta resident.
The woman’s death appears natural; no foul play is suspected.
On 11 Mar 08 Michelle Kiefer-Erb, age 32,
11534 State Route 821, Lower Salem, reported sometime overnight
an unknown suspect(s) broke the rear window of her Chevy Impala.
This case remains under investigation (945).
On 11 Mar 08 Deputy Sheriff Travaglio along
with L-A EMS members responded to a call from James J. Lowers,
age 28, 308 Third Street, Lowell. Lowers stated he injected
cocaine into his system three times before calling for help
and that it felt like his heart was going to explode. A crowd
formed as Lowers yelled profanities, refused to enter the ambulance
and ignored repeated attempts to calm down. Finally consenting
to be transported to the hospital, Lowers fled the hospital
shortly after he arrived. Deputy Travaglio later located Lowers
at his residence, arrested him for possession of cocaine and
for disorderly conduct and transported him to the Washington
County Jail.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Eric Theodore Kidder, age 36, 1244 Drag Strip Road, Belpre,
for possession of drug paraphernalia and for disorderly conduct
by intoxication, both misdemeanors. Kidder was arrested at
his residence by Deputy Sheriff Eddy and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 11 Mar 08 at 1:41 am.
Shannon Childers Mitchell, age 34, 2206 16th Street, Parkersburg,
for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Mitchell
was arrested on Drag Strip Road by Deputy Sheriff Eddy and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Mar 08 at 2:08
am.
Mitch Edward Ward, age 23, 45544 State Route 60, Vinton, OH,
for driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Ward
was arrested on US 50 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Mar 08 at 3:52
am.
Robert Lucky Patterson, age 25, 3799 Broadway,
Grove City, OH, for failure to appear, a felony. Patterson
was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy
Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 11 Mar 08 at 2:40 pm.
Andrew James Erb, age 32, 726 ½ Third Street Apt. A,
Marietta, for receiving stolen property, a felony. Erb was
arrested at his residence by Patrolman Warden of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 11 Mar 08 at 5:45 pm.
James Justin Lowers, age 28, 306 Third Street, Lowell, for
a felony charge of possession of drugs and a misdemeanor charge
of disorderly conduct. Lowers was arrested at his residence
by Deputy Sheriff Travaglio and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 11 Mar 08 at 7:45 pm.
