On 9 Mar 08 Clyde J. King, age 40, 15943 State
Route 555, Cutler, reported sometime he last saw them in June
2007, a Rough Rider .22 caliber handgun and a Ruger .22 caliber
magazine cylinder were stolen from his gun cabinet. This case
remains under investigation (200).
On 9 Mar 08 Deputy Sheriff Carr arrested Daniel
M. Pottmeyer, age 23, 310 Greenlawn Lane, Lowell, for possession
of drugs and for possession of drug paraphernalia. A passenger
in a vehicle stopped on Cats Creek Road, Mr. Pottmeyer had
an odor of marijuana and left behind two marijuana pipes when
he exited the vehicle. Searched during his arrest, Mr. Pottmeyer
had a small bag of marijuana in his coat pocket.
On 9 Mar 08 Kevin Tornes, age 37, 678 McNeal
Road, Waterford, reported being slapped by his ex-wife, Deborah
Styer, age 41, 210 Main Street, Waterford. Mr. Tornes said
his ex-wife was upset that their daughter no longer needed
information from her for a book report and began calling him
names. Ms. Styer then slapped Mr. Tornes as he turned his head
and told her to leave him alone. Because Mr. Tornes was not
in fear for his safety, Deputy Sheriff Reynolds requested a
summons for Ms. Styer for disorderly conduct by fighting.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Christopher Brian Parker, age 23, 160 Strahler Road, Waterford,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Parker
was arrested on Gilman Avenue by Deputy Sheriff Eddy and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 9 Mar 08 at 4:28 am.
Steven David Mullins, age 49, 1531 Washington Gardens Apt.
6, Washington, WV, for failing to reinstate his operator’s
license and for not wearing a seat belt, both misdemeanors.
Mullins was arrested at the Cool Spot by Deputy Sheriff Anderson
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Mar 08 at
5:16 pm.
Daniel Maurice Pottmeyer, age 23, 310 Greenlawn Lane, Lowell,
for possession of drugs and for possession of drug paraphernalia,
both misdemeanors. Pottmeyer was arrested on Cats Creek Road
by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 9 Mar 08 at 11:18 pm.
