On 2 Mar 08 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks requested a summons for Gary F. Morris, age 24, 8915 State Route 144, Stewart, for possession of marijuana and for possession of drug paraphernalia. Morris was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for speeding on State Route 7 when Deputy Smeeks’ canine indicated the presence of drugs in the vehicle. A resulting search yielded a burnt marijuana cigarette, marijuana and rolling papers that Mr. Morris admitted were his.

On 2 Mar 08 Katrina Nolan, age 36, 2146 Sandhill Road, Marietta, reported during an argument her live-in boyfriend Michael Roux, age 36, grabbed her and pushed her around their home. Ms. Nolan said she was in fear for her safety during the assault, during which she fell and injured her knee, and that her children feel threatened by Mr. Roux. In consequence, Deputy Sheriff Tucker arrested Mr. Roux for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

On 2 Mar 08 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks issued a citation to Andrew N. Mille, age 18, 112 Third Street SE, Barberton, OH, for traveling 79 mph in a 60 mph zone. Deputy Smeeks stopped Mr. Mille on State Route 7 near Federal Road in Belpre Township.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

James Justin Lowers, age 28, 306 Third Street, Lowell, for a felony charge of possession of drugs and for misdemeanor charges of possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct by fighting. Lowers was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Eddy and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Mar 08 at 12:20 am.

Michael David Schilling, age 39, 1440 Hendershot Road, Waterford, for aggravated menacing, for using a weapon while intoxicated and for disorderly conduct by fighting, all misdemeanors. Schilling was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Parks of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Mar 08 at 12:45 am.

Robert Lynn Antill, age 48, 311 Franklin Street Apt. 4, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Antill was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Mar 08 at 12:50 am.

Betty Ruth Simpson, age 55, 310 Morris Loop Road, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Simpson was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Eddy and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Mar 08 at 3:15 am.

Michael Rae Oldfield, age 41, 24700 State Route 7 Lot 50, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Oldfield was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Mar 08 at 3:25 am.

Gary John Hochstein III, age 20, McCoy Dorm Room 267, Marietta, for OVI, underage consumption of alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia and for failure to signal, all misdemeanors. Hochstein was arrested on State Route 7 in Belpre by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Mar 08 at 5:00 am.

Michael Anthony Siringer, age 19, Parsons Dorm Room 203D, Marietta, for possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and for underage consumption of alcohol, all misdemeanors. Siringer was arrested on State Route 7 in Belpre by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Mar 08 at 5:00 am.

Cody John Thomas, age 20, McCoy Dorm Room 340, Marietta, for underage consumption of alcohol, for furnishing alcohol to underage persons and for possession of false identification, all misdemeanors. Thomas was arrested on State Route 7 in Belpre by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Mar 08 at 5:00 am.

Yvonne Marie Duskey, age 23, 700 Phillips Street Apt. 3, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Duskey was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Hively of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Mar 08 at 8:00 am.

Tushar Balvandray Shelat, age 52, 6691 Highland Lakes Place, Westerville, OH, for driving under an FRA suspended license and for failure to signal, both misdemeanors. Shelat was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Mar 08 at 5:15 pm.

Joanna Lynn Brady, age 22, 1358 Masonic Park Road, Marietta, for driving under an FRA suspended license and for not having a license plate, both misdemeanors. Brady was arrested on State Route 60 by Deputy Sheriff Travaglio and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Mar 08 at 6:30 pm.

Paul Morgan Teters, age 44, 240 Calhoun Street, Wytheville, PA, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Teters was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Hickey of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Mar 08 at 9:45 pm.

Sherisha Louis Magagi Ali, age 24, 325 Timber Ridge Street, Pickerington, OH, for a felony charge of complicity to traffic in marijuana and for a misdemeanor charge of obstructing official business. Ali was arrested on Franklin Street in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Mar 08 at 10:05 pm.

Michael Lee Roux, age 36, 2146 Sandhill Road, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Roux was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Tucker and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Mar 08 at 11:50 pm.
