On 29 Feb 08 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to James K. Chapman, age 52, 508 North Rankin Street,
Appleton, WI, for driving left of center. Deputy Mankins stopped
Mr. Chapman on Cole-Coffman Road in Warren Township.
On 29 Feb 08 Deputy Sheriff Travaglio issued
a citation to Stacy R. Robinson Jr., age 20, 837 C Third Street,
Marietta, for driving under an FRA suspended license and for
failure to signal. Deputy Travaglio stopped Mr. Robinson at
the intersection of Butler and Second Streets in Marietta.
On 29 Feb 08 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks issued
a citation to Tony J. Scott, age 19, 971 Gilman Street, Marietta,
for driving under a suspended license. Deputy Smeeks stopped
Mr. Scott on Groves Avenue in Marietta.
On 29 Feb 08 Deputy Sheriff Travaglio arrested
Carl Nelson Robison, age 40, 121 ½ Greene Street Apt.
3, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication. Called
to Butler Street in Marietta after motorists reported being
stopped to a person in the roadway, Deputy Travaglio noticed
Mr. Robison’s speech was slurred and incoherent, had
trouble standing and was carrying a half empty bottle of Irish
whiskey. When arrested, Mr. Robison tested .344 BAC.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Brian Michael Taylor, age 20, 102 Flintwood
Drive, Marietta, for trafficking in drugs, a felony. Taylor
was arrested on Seventh Street in Marietta by Patrolman Arbaugh
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 29 Feb 08 at 1:52 am.
Leroy Everett Lyons Jr., age 33, 8810 Willard
Avenue, Cleveland, for violating the terms of his probation
and for failure to appear, both misdemeanors. Lyons was picked
up in Cleveland by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 29 Feb 08 at 2:30 pm.
Carl Nelson Robison, age 40, 121 ½ Greene Street Apt.
3, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor.
Robison was arrested on Butler Street in Marietta by Deputy
Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 29 Feb 08 at 4:00 pm.
Matthew Adam McCoy, age 18, 324 Clark Street, Belmont, WV,
for three felony counts of burglary. McCoy was arrested in
Belpre by Deputy Sheriff Smeeks and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 29 Feb 08 at 7:50 pm.
Michael Lynn Skaggs, age 48, 2716 State Route 325 South, Thurman,
OH, for a felony charge of receiving stolen property and for
misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession
of criminal tools, having an inoperable license plate light
and for having one operational headlight. Skaggs was arrested
on State Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Travaglio and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 29 Feb 08 at 9:00 pm.
Leon Douglas Galliamore, age 37, 50 Westwood Drive Apt. 7,
Gallipolis, OH, for a felony charge of receiving stolen property
and for misdemeanor charges of possession of criminal tools
and possession of drug paraphernalia. Galliamore was arrested
on State Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Travaglio and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 29 Feb 08 at 9:20 pm.
