On 23 Feb 08 Deputy Sheriff Staats conducted
a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Albert M. Bonar, age
43, 2675 Braun Road, Belpre, after receiving information that
in Bonar’s vehicle was a suspect with an active warrant.
In the area of Blennerhassett Avenue, Deputy Staats arrested
the suspect, James C. Bartimus, age 34, 1905 Beaver Street,
Parkersburg, and discovered Vicodin, Adderall, marijuana, rolling
papers and a marijuana pipe. For possessing the contraband
Mr. Bartimus was also charged with a felony charge of possession
of drugs and for misdemeanor charges possession of drugs and
possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Bonar was arrested for
possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia as
well. A canine indication prompted the search of Mr. Bonar’s
vehicle and Deputies discovered marijuana and rolling papers
found in the center console.
On 23 Feb 08 Deputy Sheriff Travaglio issued
a citation to Kenneth R. McIntyre Jr. age 42, Hills Bridge
Road, Marietta, for failure to reinstate his operator’s
license and for having a loud exhaust. Deputy Travaglio stopped
Mr. McIntyre at the intersection of Fearing and Barber Streets
in Marietta.
On 23 Feb 08 Deputy Sheriff Travaglio issued
a citation to Laurie B. Phan, age 26, 72 Briggs Hill Road,
Belpre, for operating a vehicle with expired registration and
for failure to reinstate her operator’s license. Deputy
Travaglio stopped Ms. Phan at the intersection of Second and
Greene Streets in Marietta.
On 23 Feb 08 Deputy Sheriff Malone responded
to the scene of death of a seventy-three year old Marietta
resident. The woman’s death appears natural; no foul
play is suspected.
On 23 Feb 08 Rosemary Curry, age 55, 47598
State Route 7, New Matamoras, reported a male subject entered
her vehicle and she locked him inside it using her keyless
entry. Arriving at the scene, Deputy Sheriff Tucker had Ms.
Curry unlock the truck and ordered out the suspect. The suspect,
Lonnie D. Dalrymple Jr., age 23, 1308 Williamson Avenue Apt.
1E, New Matamoras, repeatedly refused to exit, was dragged
out and handcuffed on the ground. Unable to stand due to his
inebriety, Dalrymple was arrested for disorderly conduct by
intoxication and transported to the Washington County Jail.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Larry Gordon Lunsford, age 36, 606 Fourth Avenue, Huntington,
for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Lunsford was picked up
in Salem, WV by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 23 Feb 08 at 4:39 pm.
James Clinton Bartimus, age 34, 1905 Beaver Street, Parkersburg,
for a felony charge of possession of drugs and for misdemeanor
charges of failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on
unpaid fines, possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bartimus was arrested in Marietta by Sgt. Underwood of the
Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 23 Feb 08 at 6:50 pm.
Albert Maywood Bonar, age 43, 2675 Braun Road, Belpre, for
possession of drugs and for possession of drug paraphernalia,
both misdemeanors. Bonar was arrested in Belpre by Deputy Sheriff
Staats and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23
Feb 08 at 7:15 pm.
