On 15 Feb 08 Deputy Sheriff Spencer arrested
Chad R. Parsons, age 27, 530 ½ Fourth Street, Marietta,
for driving under an FRA suspended license. Deputy Spencer
conducted the traffic stop near milepost eighteen on State
Route 7 after Mr. Parsons failed to a turn signal. Also as
a result of the stop, Deputy Spencer issued a citation to Mr.
Parsons’ live-in girlfriend Mary Prather, age 30, for
permitting an unlicensed driver to operate her vehicle.
On 15 Feb 08 Lt. Wilson issued a citation
to a seventeen year old Marietta resident for traveling 55
mph in a 35 mph zone. Lt. Wilson stopped the juvenile on Gilman
Avenue near Groves Avenue in Marietta.
On 15 Feb 08 Deputy Sheriff Anderson issued
a citation to Gary L. Cable, age 27, 109 Jefferson Drive Apt.
7, Caldwell, for driving under a suspended license. Cable was
also issued a minor misdemeanor citation of possession of marijuana
after a pat down for weapons revealed a burnt marijuana joint
in a cigarette wrapper in his pocket. The traffic stop occurred
on State Route 821 near Sherbourne Road in Aurelius Township.
On 15 Feb 08 David L. Nolen, age 60, 165 Arends
Ridge Road, Marietta, reported sometime over the past four
days an unknown suspect tampered with the gas tank he has on
his property at 457 River Road, Marietta. This case remains
under investigation (790).
On 15 Feb 08 Nikki L. Vanfossen, age 23, 510
Carson Lane Apt. B, Belpre, reported she was moving out of
her residence when her live-in boyfriend, Beldon T. Bailey
Jr., age 30, confronted her. Arguing in the bedroom of their
residence, Ms. Vanfossen said Mr. Bailey grabbed her by the
hair and shoved her head through a wall. Ms. Vanfossen entered
her vehicle to flee, at which point Mr. Bailey punched through
the window and shattered glass in the direction of Ms. Vanfossen’s
young daughter seated in the backseat. After receiving treatment
for lacerations to his hand Mr. Bailey was arrested for domestic
violence, endangering children and criminal damaging and transported
to the Washington County Jail.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Cameron Mitchell Flack, age 18, Marietta, for OVI and for
driving outside the marked lanes of travel, both misdemeanors.
Flack was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14
Feb 08 at 9:05 pm.
Brent Patrick Pottmeyer, age 29, 616 Second Street, Marietta,
for .08 breath OVI, for not stopping at a red light and for
having an inoperable license plate light, all misdemeanors.
Pottmeyer was arrested on Second Street in Marietta by the
Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 15 Feb 08 at 3:02 am.
Chad Robert Parsons, age 27, 530 ½ Fourth Street, Marietta,
for driving under an FRA suspended license, a misdemeanor.
Parsons was arrested on State Route 7 in Belpre by Deputy Sheriff
Spencer and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15
Feb 08 at 5:15 am.
William Eugene Deford Jr., age 36, 808 Front
Street, Marietta, for breach of recognizance and for possession
of drugs, both felonies. Deford was picked up at the North
Central Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 15 Feb 08 at 12:30 pm.
Louis Felix, age 39, 7 Purchase Street, Taunton, MA, for driving
under a suspended license and for speeding, both misdemeanors.
Felix was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16
Feb 08 at 5:13 pm.
Donald Ray Meador, age PO Box 28, New Matamoras, for violating
the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Meador was arrested
in New Matamoras by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 15 Feb 08 at 7:11 pm.
Beldon Todd Bailey Jr., age 30, 510 Carson Lane, Little Hocking,
for child endangerment, criminal damaging and for two counts
of domestic violence, all misdemeanors. Bailey was arrested
at Marietta Memorial Hospital by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Feb 08 at 11:20
pm.
