On 14 Feb 08 Deputy Sheriff Lockhart arrested
Alexandra J. Robertson, age 20, 124 Tennis Center Drive Apt.
3B, Marietta, for underage consumption of alcohol. Stopped
for speeding on State Route 7 near Briggs Hill Road, Ms. Robertson
had an odor of alcohol and admitted drinking half of a beer
earlier in the evening.
On 14 Feb 08 Corrections Officer Farrell investigated
an assault involving two inmates the previous evening. The
victim, Joseph Carpenter, age 26, 65 Church Street, Vincent,
stated as a joke he hid commissary items belonging to Chad
Williams, age 26, 4492 Anderson Road, Fleming, while Williams
was in visitation. Carpenter returned the items to Williams
and conversed for a half hour before Williams punched Carpenter
in the face. Carpenter accepted the blow as punishment but
angered when Williams punched him once more. Other inmates
separated the sparring parties and no other blows were exchanged.
As a result of his investigation, Officer Farrell charged Williams
with assault.
On 14 Feb 08 Deputy Sheriff Carr issued a
citation to Brian Welch, age 38, 34540 Township 543, Lowell,
for traveling 54 mph in a 35 mph zone. Deputy Carr stopped
Mr. Welch on Gilman Avenue near Washington Street in Marietta.
On 14 Feb 08 Deputy Sheriff Anderson issued
a citation to Patrick M. Stark, age 25, 11525 Dupont Road,
Washington, WV, for operating a vehicle with a registration
that expired in November 2007. Deputy Anderson stopped Mr.
Stark on US 50 near Federal Road in Belpre Township.
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Kenneth D. Irwin, age 43, 1922 Seventh Street,
Parkersburg, for violating the terms of his probation by failing
to show proof of making restitution or to appear to serve ninety
days in jail.
Janet L. Jones, age 34, 349 Blaze Run Road, Walker, WV, for
violating the terms of his probation by failing to show proof
of completing forty hours of community service or to appear
to serve ten days in jail.
Christopher R. McCort, age 28, 526 ½ E. Bell Avenue,
McConnelsville, for violating the terms of his probation by
failing to show proof of completing a Driver’s Intervention
program.
Donald R. Meador, age 57, 817 Grandview Avenue, New Matamoras,
for violating the terms of his probation by failing to appear
for a scheduled appointment.
Robert W. Patterson, age 24, 518 Third Street, Marietta, for
violating the terms of his probation by failing to show proof
of making restitution or to appear to serve thirty days in
jail.
Cody J. Stout, age 19, 4535 Ireland Road, Coolville, for violating
the terms of his probation by failing to show proof of completing
community service or to appear to serve ten days in jail.
Shari A. Witham, age 40, 126 Main Street, Belle Valley, for
violating the terms of his probation by failing to appear for
a scheduled appointment.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Alexandra J. Robertson, age 20, 124 Tennis
Center Drive Apt. 3B, Marietta, for underage consumption of
alcohol, a misdemeanor. Robertson was arrested on State Route
7 in Belpre by Deputy Sheriff Lockhart and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 14 Feb 08 at 2:21 am.
Ronald Dean Myers II, age 27, 1009 Third Street,
Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
Myers was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Hamilton
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Feb 08
at 9:25 am.
