On 12 Feb 08 Deputies responded to a 911 call
from a caller who only stated she was scared and would not
give further information. Tracing the origin of the call to
102 Sylvan Way, Marietta, Deputy Spencer identified the caller
as Cherri L. Husk, age 32. Deputy Spencer was unable to garner
any other details from Ms. Husk, who was uninjured and refused
to write a statement. Due to the lack of physical and corroborating
evidence, Deputy Spencer closed this case as unfounded (1090,
1207).
On 12 Feb 08 a seventeen year old Whipple
resident reported her LG cellular phone was stolen while she
visited a friend at Sierra Apartments between midnight and
3 am. A friend of the victim observed the theft and identified
the suspect as Sarah L. Stoneking, age 20, 25 Harvey Street,
Parkersburg. Questioned by Deputy Sheriff Spencer, Ms. Stoneking
stated she stole the phone because she was angry the victim
slept with her boyfriend and was going to call the victim’s
boyfriend and tell him. Consequently, Deputy Spencer arrested
Ms. Stoneking for theft and transported her to the Washington
County Jail.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Sarah Leanne Stoneking, age 20, 25 Harvey
Street, Parkersburg, for theft, a misdemeanor. Stoneking was
arrested at Sierra Apartments by Deputy Sheriff Spencer and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Feb 08 at 5:00
am.
Robert Vance Hardie Sr., age 49, 3650 Millers
Lane, Reno, for violating the terms of his parole, a felony.
Hardie was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Carson
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Feb 08
at 10:55 am.
Joshua Allen Martin, age 21, 681 State Route 821, Marietta,
for driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Martin
was arrested on State Route 676 in Churchtown by the Ohio State
Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 12 Feb 08 at 3:25 pm.
