On 10 Feb 08 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes investigated
a 911 hang up call at 12858 State Route 676 Apt. B, Watertown.
Flushing her husband’s painkillers because he does not
take them as prescribed, Elizabeth M. Westgate, age 46 stated
her live-in boyfriend Sherman D. Holder, age 45, threw a plastic
cup that hit her in the head. In return, Ms. Westgate threw
a spatula and glass jar but missed Mr. Holder. Not viewing
injuries to either and citing equal involvement, Deputy Rhodes
issued minor misdemeanor citations to Ms. Westgate and Mr.
Holder for disorderly conduct by fighting.
On 10 Feb 08 Deputy Sheriff Norman stopped
a vehicle on Interstate 77 that motorists reported was operating
recklessly. While Deputy Norman was arresting the driver Reashawn
Dunning, age 23, 3006 Kola Way, Columbus, for driving under
a suspended license, a passenger fled across the roadway and
into the woods. The fleeing passenger, David A. Givens Jr.,
age 23, 2590 Queenwood Court, Columbus, left his driver’s
license at the scene and will be charged with obstructing justice.

were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Reashawn Antoine Dunning, age 23, 3006 Kola Way, Columbus,
for driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Dunning
was arrested on Interstate 77 by Deputy Sheriff Norman and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Feb 08 at 12:05
am.
Anthony Marquise Valdez, age 18, 5820 Winshire Drive, Canal
Winchester, OH, for underage consumption of alcohol, obstructing
official business, littering and for possession of drugs, all
misdemeanors. Valdez was arrested on Greene Street in Marietta
by Patrolman Nedeff of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Feb 08
at 2:02 am.
Tanner Lee Gorby, age 18, 530 Shirls Avenue, Washington, PA,
for .02 breath underage OVI and for failure to obey a traffic
control device, both misdemeanors. Gorby was arrested on State
Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 10 Feb 08 at 2:47 am.
Charlotte Arlene Wright, age 45, 194 Davis Road, Waterford,
for contempt of a court order, a misdemeanor. Wright was arrested
at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 10 Feb 08 at 1:36 pm.
Peggy Sue Wells, age 40, 707 Fourth Street, New Matamoras,
for failing to confine/restrain a dog, a misdemeanor. Wells
was arrested at her residence by Chief Bourne of the New Matamoras
Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 10 Feb 08 at 9:38 pm.
Steven Dwain Wagner, age 54, 380 County House Lane, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Wagner
was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Stackpole of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 10 Feb 08 at 11:39 pm.
