On 5 Feb 08 Deputy Sheriff Spencer issued a citation to Amanda R. Mendenhall, age 55, 726 ½ Third Street Apt. A, Marietta, for driving under a license suspended for not paying child support. Deputy Spencer stopped Ms. Mendenhall on State Route 60 near Chamberlain Drive in Muskingum Township.

On 5 Feb 08 Deputy Sheriff Tucker arrested Julian F. Ferguson, age 39, at the Elba Community Church at 16115 State Route 821 for criminal trespassing. A resident neighboring the church reported seeing Mr. Ferguson enter the building after he refused Mr. Ferguson’s request to sleep in his garage for the night. Mr. Ferguson admitted entering the church, saying he is traveling to Cleveland from Idaho and didn’t want to die outside in the rain.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Matthew Richard Jett, age 22, 505 Ferguson Street, Marietta, for a felony charge of possession of drugs and for misdemeanor charges of OVI, driving under an FRA suspended license and child endangerment. Jett was arrested on Third Street in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Feb 08 at 12:08 am.

Robert Lennard Wilson III, age 36, 3820 Bells Run Road, Newport, for a felony charge of tampering with drugs and for misdemeanor charges of carrying a concealed weapon and driving under a suspended license. Wilson was arrested on Tower Road in Little Hocking by Deputy Sheriff Lockhart and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Feb 08 at 12:47 am.

Cameron Wesley Barton, age 18, 407 Maple Street, Marietta, for felony charges of assault and theft and misdemeanor charges of obstructing official business and underage consumption of alcohol. Barton was arrested on Franklin Street in Marietta by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Feb 08 at 3:28 am.

Eric Thayer Buker, age 25, 262 Buker Lane, Ava, IL, for speeding and for operating with an expired license, both misdemeanors. Buker was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Feb 08 at 8:25 am.

Amber Lynn Feibel, age 30, PO Box 43, Dexter City, for violating the terms of her probation and for contempt of a court order, both misdemeanors. Feibel was picked up in Guernsey County by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Feb 08 at 3:25 pm.

Julian Frank Ferguson, age 39, Marietta, for criminal trespassing, a misdemeanor. Ferguson was arrested on State Route 821 by Sgt. Parks of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Feb 08 at 9:10 pm.
