On 3 Feb 08 Deputy Sheriff Travaglio noticed
a subject in a vehicle parked in the Lafayette Square parking
lot duck suspiciously when he noticed his cruiser. Interviewing
the suspicious male identified as Allen E. Jeffers, age 29,
800 Eighth Street, Marietta, Deputy Travaglio noticed an odor
of burnt marijuana. When questioned, Mr. Jeffers admitted he
was smoking marijuana and stuffed a marijuana pipe in his shoe.
Finding a bag of marijuana as well, Deputy Travaglio arrested
Mr. Jeffers for possession of marijuana and for possession
of drug paraphernalia and transported him to the Washington
County Jail.
On 3 Feb 08 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks arrested
Nicholas A. Depasquale, age 20, 47th Street NE, Canton, for
possession of drugs and for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Stopping the vehicle for speeding on State Route 7, Deputy
Smeeks’ canine indicated the presence of drugs in Mr.
Depasquale’s car. The ensuing search yielded several
baggies containing marijuana residue, a bag of marijuana and
a marijuana pipe.
On 3 Feb 08 Paul G. Thompson, age 37, 15 Mercer
Road, Stockport, reported his neighbor’s black angus
cattle escaped their enclosure and caused substantial damage
to his yard. Citing similar events over the past several months,
Deputy Sheriff Tucker requested a summons for Clarence W. Waite,
age 78, 1250 Tabor Ridge Road, Stockport, for allowing his
cattle to remain at large.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Donald Paul Anderson, age 21, 708 Front Street Apt. 19, Marietta,
for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Anderson was arrested
at his residence by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City
Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 3 Feb 08 at 3:15 am.
Susan Raye Harvey, age 33, 11722 State Route 555, Cutler,
for receiving stolen property, a felony. Harvey was arrested
on Hill Road in Cutler by Deputy Sheriff Staats and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 3 Feb 08 at 2:30 pm.
Nicholas A. Depasquale, age 20, 47th Street NE, Canton, for
possession of drugs and for possession of drug paraphernalia,
both misdemeanors. Depasquale was arrested near milepost eighteen
on State Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Staats and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 3 Feb 08 at 5:55 pm.
Allen Eugene Jeffers, age 29, 800 Eighth Street, Marietta,
for possession of drugs and for possession of drug paraphernalia,
both misdemeanors. Jeffers was arrested in Marietta by Deputy
Sheriff Travaglio and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 3 Feb 08 at 7:45 pm.
Krista Nicole Grywalsky, age 25, 707 Warren Street Apt. B,
Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor.
Grywalsky was arrested on North Seventh Street in Marietta
by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Feb 08 at
8:10 pm.
