On 25 Jan 08 Deputy Sheriff Staats arrested Johnie M. Ohse II, age 30, 21155 Verner Road, Guysville, for OVI, possession of drug paraphernalia and for possession of drugs. Stopping Mr. Ohse for following another vehicle too closely, Deputy Staats’ canine indicated the presence of drugs in the vehicle. Mr. Ohse, who also heavily slurred his speech, performed poorly on field sobriety tests and admitted smoking marijuana an hour earlier that afternoon. At the time of his arrest Mr. Ohse had a small quantity of marijuana and a marijuana pipe in a cloth bag in his pants cargo pocket.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Robin Jerome Richards, age 20, State Route 550, Barlow, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Richards was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Jan 08 at 10:03 am.

William Richard Huffman, age 41, 3043 Redgate Lane, Youngstown, OH, for possessing an open container of alcohol and for possession of drugs, both misdemeanors. Huffman was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Jan 08 at 11:26 am.

Johnie Murriel Ohse II, age 30, 21155 Verner Road, Guysville, for OVI, possession of drug paraphernalia and for possession of drugs, all misdemeanors. Ohse was arrested near the intersection of State Route 555 and State Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Staats and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Jan 08 at 5:53 pm.
