On 22 Jan 08 an employee of Marietta Industrial
Enterprises, 101 Blue Knob Road, Marietta, reported forty-six
copper bricks of various sizes were stolen from a storage area
sometime since 7:15 am on 19 Jan. The total loss was 611 pounds
with a value of approximately $2,500. This case remains under
investigation (790).
On 22 Jan 08 Matthew J. Long, age 47, 31433
State Route 62, Salem, OH, struck a deer as he traveled northbound
on Interstate 77 near milepost two. While Mr. Long’s
Ford Expedition sustained disabling damage, no injuries were
reported (292).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Geoffrey Ian Burnett, age 27, 1453 109th Street,
Cleveland, for driving under an FRA suspended license and for
speeding, both misdemeanors. Burnett was arrested near milepost
three on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Jan 08 at 3:30
am.
Jeffrey Bruce Smith, age 42, 20360 State Route
60, Beverly, for theft, a misdemeanor. Smith was arrested at
IGA in Beverly by Patrolman Oliver of the Beverly Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Jan 08
at 3:45 pm.
Krystal Renae Smith, age 36, 20360 State Route 60, Beverly,
for theft, a misdemeanor. Smith was arrested at IGA in Beverly
by Patrolman Oliver of the Beverly Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 22 Jan 08 at 3:45 pm.
David Allen Sayres, age 43, 840 Pike Street Apt. 42, Marietta,
for disorderly conduct by intoxication, for possessing an open
container of alcohol and for breach of recognizance, all misdemeanors.
Sayres was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Linscott of the
Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 22 Jan 08 at 4:00 pm.
Tracey Lee Dailey, age 28, 2710 Lottridge
Road, Guysville, for violating the terms of her probation,
a misdemeanor. Dailey
was picked up at the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail in Nelsonville
by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 22 Jan 08 at 4:30 pm.
