On 15 Jan 08 Deputy Sheriff Mankins requested
a summons for a seventeen year old Marietta resident to appear
in Juvenile Court for being unruly. The juvenile’s mother
and aunt stated the incident began they picked up the teenager
at the Parkersburg Police Department after she was arrested
for shoplifting. On the way to Marietta both witnesses said
the juvenile tried several times to jump out of the vehicle,
cursed incessantly and had to be forcibly restrained.
On 15 Jan 08 a twenty-three year old Waterford
resident reported beginning in December an unknown male began
phoning her cell phone and making vulgar and sexual comments.
This case remains under investigation (296).
On 15 Jan 08 an employee of Dimex, 23805 State
Route 7, Marietta, reported approximately fifty pounds of copper
strips were stolen from a warehouse between 9 and 9:30 that
evening. This case remains under investigation (945).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Derrik Ryan McGee, age 24, 810 Clifton Street,
Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. McGee was picked up at the
Morgan County jail by Patrolman Ellenwood of the Marietta City
Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 15 Jan 08 at 1:35 pm.
Margie Mae Vandale, age 30, 211 Meigs Street, Marietta, for
failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Vandale was arrested at the
Sheriff’s Office by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 15 Jan 08 at 5:27 pm.
Jason Walter McKinley, age 25, 1530 Manning Street, Winfield,
KS, for theft, forgery and uttering, all felonies. McKinley
was picked up in Cowley County, KS by Deputy Sheriff Doak and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Jan 08 at 10:03
pm.
