On 12 Jan 08 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks requested
a summons for a fifteen year old Fleming resident to appear
in Juvenile Court for being unruly. The teenager’s mother
reported she’s had problems with her daughter in the
past and today ripped a phone cord off the wall.
On 12 Jan 08 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes arrested
Sherman D. Holder, age 45, 12858 State Route 676 Apt. B, Waterford,
for OVI. A witness reported Mr. Holder was driving impaired
and Deputy Rhodes observed him weaving as he traveled on State
Route 339. Performing poorly on sobriety tests, Mr. Holder
refused a BAC test when transported to the Washington County
Jail.
On 12 Jan 08 Sgt. Parks issued a citation
to Jodie L. Frum, age 39, 1838 S. State Route 2, Sistersville,
WV, for traveling 55 mph in a 40 mph zone. Sgt. Parks stopped
Ms. Frum on State Route 7 in Newport Township.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Stephen Eugene Belton, age 36, 19501 Fairport Street, Detroit,
MI, for driving under a suspended license and for operating
a vehicle without license plates, both misdemeanor. Belton
was arrested on Interstate 77 by Deputy Sheriff Travaglio and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Jan 08 at 5:50
am.
Roger Dean Clevenger, age 47, 19483 McFarland Hill Road, Macksburg,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Clevenger was arrested at his residence
by Deputy Sheriff Hall and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 12 Jan 08 at 11:29 am.
Helena Denise Riggs, age 34, 1455 Branch Road, Lowell, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines,
a misdemeanor. Riggs was arrested in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff
Hall and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Jan
08 at 1:09 pm.
Daniel Preston Edwards, age 37, 911 Fourth Street, Marietta,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Edwards was arrested at his residence
by Patrolman Hanson of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Jan 08
at 2:46 pm.
Larry Dale Haught Jr., age 27, 555 Dodd Run Road, Marietta,
for OVI and for driving under a suspended license, both misdemeanors.
Haught was arrested on Virginia Street by Deputy Sheriff Staats
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Jan 08
at 11:17 pm.
