On 5 Jan 08 Alissa M. Snodgrass, age 24, 3922 Braun Road, Belpre, reported being injured by her ex-husband when he threw a ceramic tea set across the room at her. Eric B. Snodgrass, age 23, 606 McKenna Drive, Williamstown, was at her residence watching the former couple’s children while Ms. Snodgrass ran errands. When Ms. Snodgrass returned an argument ensued over a crumbled cookie on the floor and other past issues. That is when Mr. Snodgrass threw a jar of jalapeños on the floor and the tea set at Ms. Snodgrass. Admitting he lost his temper and throwing the tea set, Mr. Snodgrass was arrested for domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail.

On 5 Jan 08 an employee of Par Mar, 66 Arrowhead Road, Little Hocking, reported while two young males distracted her for a moment another male removed an item from one of the store’s shelves. This case remains under investigation (790).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Todd Daniel Weddle, age 38, 2235 Bells Run Road, Newport, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, possession of drugs and for possession of drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors. Weddle was arrested on Ohio Street by Patrolman Kampmeier of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Jan 08 at 3:34 am.

Brian Keith Bunting, age 51, 710 Washington Boulevard, Belpre, for disorderly conduct by intoxication and for being intoxicated along a roadway, both misdemeanors. Bunting was arrested at Giant Eagle by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Jan 08 at 5:35 pm.

Rachael Bernice Martin, age 23, 5380 Johnson Ridge Road, Waterford, for OVI, failure to control, obstructing justice and for driving under an OVI suspended license, all misdemeanors. Martin was arrested near milepost five on School House Road by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Jan 08 at 7:55 pm.

Michael Eric Hoffert, age 25, 161 Wells Avenue, Marietta, for obstructing justice, a misdemeanor. Hoffert was arrested near milepost five on School House Road by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Jan 08 at 8:30 pm.

Ronnie Edwin Kern Sr., age 44, 313 Blennerhassett Drive, Belpre, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, failure to appear, hit-skip and for driving under a suspended license, all misdemeanors. Kern was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Clevenger of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Jan 08 at 10:50 pm.

Eric Bradley Snodgrass, age 23, 606 McKenna Drive, Williamstown, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Snodgrass was arrested at 3922 Braun Road by Deputy Sheriff Reynolds and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Jan 08 at 11:15 pm.
