On 3 Jan 08 the finance manager at Pioneer
Chevrolet, 1315 Pike Street, Marietta, reported on 25 Jul 07
a customer issued the business a check for $600 as a down payment
on a Dodge truck and the check was returned for non-sufficient
funds. This case remains under investigation (8411).
On 3 Jan 08 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes arrested
Shane D. Wisenburg, age 28, 1763 Windy Ridge Road, Vincent,
for OVI, driving under a suspended license and speeding. Mr.
Wisenburg was stopped for traveling 69 mph on State Route 7
near Veto Road when Deputy Rhodes noticed his slurred speech
and bloodshot eyes. Administering field sobriety tests, Deputy
Rhodes learned Mr. Wisenburg has three previous OVI’s
and was driving under suspension. Following his poor performance
on sobriety tests, Mr. Wisenburg was transported to the Washington
County Jail where he tested .182 BAC.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Joshua Earl Lee, age 26, 18504 State Route
550, Marietta, for violating the terms of his parole, a felony.
Lee was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Gault and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Jan 08 at 10:11
am.
Joshua Eric Burkhart, age 19, 655 Goose Run Road, Marietta,
for aggravated burglary, a felony. Burkhart was arrested at
his residence by Patrolman Hively of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
3 Jan 08 at 12:49 pm.
Ricky Alan Boice Jr., age 19, 120 Elmwood Avenue, Marietta,
for aggravated burglary, a felony. Boice was arrested at his
residence by Patrolman Gragan of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Jan 08 at
2:09 pm.
Thomas Earl Brandt, age 24, 700 Phillips Street Apt. 3, Marietta,
for attempted aggravated burglary and for attempted aggravated
robbery, both felonies. Brandt was arrested at his residence
by Detective Hawkins of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Jan 08 at
6:45 pm.
