On 2 Jan 08 Elizabeth A. Ashley, age 26, 85
Greene Street Apt. 1, Newport, reported around midnight she
was awakened by the sound of broken glass and observed the
glass window of her apartment’s back door was broken.
This case remains under investigation (790, 1090).
On 2 Jan 08 John S. Oanceo, age 45, 1323 Lancaster
Street, Marietta, was traveling southbound on State Route 7
when he encountered a patch of ice near Moore’s Junction
and lost control of his Honda Accord. Mr. Oanceo’s vehicle
spun around 180 degrees, struck a concrete barrier. Mr. Oanceo
was not injured during the crash that caused disabling damage
to his vehicle (586).
On 2 Jan 08 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks responded
to 11765 Veto Road, Belpre, where an abandoned vehicle caught
fire. The State Fire Marshall’s Office conducted an investigation
at the scene and concluded the fire was not suspicious.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Shane Daniel Wisenburg, age 28, 1763 Windy
Ridge Road, Vincent, for OVI, for driving under an OVI suspended
license and for speeding, all misdemeanors. Wisenburg was arrested
on State Route 7 near Veto Road by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Jan 08 at 3:55
am.
Matthew Joseph Siley, age 32, 265 BF Goodrich Road, Marietta,
for misuse of a credit card, a felony. Siley was picked up
at the Noble Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff Underwood
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Jan 08 at
12:36 pm.
Lloyd Michael Morton Jr., age 38, 608 Sandusky Street, Mount
Vernon, OH, for driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor.
Morton was picked up at the Knox County Jail by Deputy Sheriff
O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 2 Jan 08 at 2:43 pm.
David Allen Rabourn Sr., age 39, 805 Mitchell Avenue Apt.
5, Beverly, for nonsupport of dependants, a felony. Rabourn
was arrested at his residence by Chief Brockmeier of the Beverly
Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 2 Jan 08 at 3:27 pm.
