On 29 Dec 07 Deputy Sheriff Travaglio issued a citation to Joey J. Rush, age 45, 475 Buckeye Ridge Road, Stockport, for driving under a suspended license and for operating a vehicle with license plates that expired in October 2006. Deputy Travaglio stopped Mr. Rush on State Route 555 near Williams Road in Wesley Township.

On 29 Dec 07 Deputy Sheriff Travaglio issued a citation to Christopher R. Krueger, age 25, 8500 Dalzell Road, Lower Salem, for driving under an FRA suspended license and for having an inoperable license plate light. Deputy Travaglio stopped Mr. Krueger on State Route 821 near Dalzell Road in Salem Township.

On 29 Dec 07 a thirty-four year old Belpre resident reported when he arrived at his home to gather belongings to move out of his residence, his wife greeted him by pointing a double barreled shotgun at him. The victim stated he wrestled the gun away from his wife and did not want to pursue the matter. However, this case remains under investigation (592).

On 29 Dec 07 Allen Biehl, age 36, 6066 Highwood Park, Naples, FL, reported between 1 Nov and 29 Dec 07 an unknown suspect entered the home he still owns at 125 Rummer Road, Marietta, and stole a Panasonic stereo system and two large speakers. This case remains under investigation (586).

On 29 Dec 07 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes arrested George T. Anderson, age 57, 109 Coventry Road, Marietta, for OVI, resisting arrest and for having an inoperable license plate light. Stopped for not having an illuminated license plate light, Mr. Anderson had an odor of alcohol and slurred his speech. Mr. Anderson claimed he only drank two glasses of wine but performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Being told he was under arrest, Mr. Anderson had to be forcibly escorted to Deputy Rhodes’ cruiser and repeatedly exclaimed he was not being arrested. When transported to the Washington County Jail Mr. Anderson tested .248 BAC.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

George Thomas Anderson, age 57, 109 Coventry Road, Marietta, for .08 breath OVI, resisting arrest and for having an inoperable license plate light, all misdemeanors. Anderson was arrested on Market Street by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Dec 07 at 3:30 am.

David Allen Sayres, age 42, 840 Pike Street Apt. 42, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Sayres was arrested on Putnam Street in Marietta by Patrolman Sury of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Dec 07 at 4:43 pm.

Jose Ernesto Perez, age 48, 6675 Fairville Drive, Cambridge, for OVI, for driving under a suspended license and for driving outside the marked lanes of travel, all misdemeanors. Perez was arrested on State Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Reynolds and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Dec 07 at 5:03 pm.

Aaron John Sarver, age 21, 15936 State Route 550, Fleming, for OVI, a misdemeanor. Sarver was arrested on State Route 550 by Deputy Sheriff Travaglio and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Dec 07 at 6:27 pm.
