On 25 Dec 07 Timothy Paschke, age 38, 3950
Road Fork Road, Lower Salem, reported while it was parked at
16131 State Route 821 in Macksburg, it appears that someone
threw a rock and broke the windshield of his truck. This case
remains under investigation (945).
On 25 Dec 07 Deputy Sheriff Eddy responded
to the scene of a domestic dispute at 425 County House Lane,
Marietta. Witnesses stated James Rhodes, age 32, was drunk
and attempted to drive away from the residence when he was
confronted by his step-son William Richards, age 18. At that
point, Mr. Rhodes choked Mr. Richards, threw him to the ground
and jumped on top of him. Mr. Rhodes fled while Mr. Richards
received treatment for slight numbness to his legs. Subsequent
to Deputy Eddy requesting a warrant for him for domestic violence,
Mr. Rhodes turned himself in.
On 25 Dec 07 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks issued
a minor misdemeanor citation to Joshua B. Forrider, age 19,
26788 Shanks Road, Coolville, for disorderly conduct by fighting.
Mr. Forrider was the driver of a vehicle traveling on State
Route 7 when an argument erupted with one of his passengers,
a seventeen year old Coolville resident. A minor scuffle ensued
during which both individuals incurred minor injuries. The
seventeen year old was issued a summons to appear in Juvenile
Court for delinquency by disorderly conduct.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Melissa Kristine Burd, age 28, 713 Division Street Apt. 6,
Parkersburg, for OVI, speeding and for driving under a suspended
license, all misdemeanors. Burd was arrested on Putnam Street
in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 25 Dec 1:05 am.
Cory Jean Hollis-Bell, age 31, 5649 Kimberly Woods Drive,
Charlotte, NC, for driving under a suspended license, speeding
and for failure to appear, all misdemeanors. Hollis-Bell was
arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Dec 4:12
pm.
