On 24 Dec 07 Andrea Decker, age 49, 13651
County Nine Road, New Matamoras, reported her husband David,
age 58, was highly inebriated from taking prescription medication
and drinking alcohol and was making threats with a gun. Mrs.
Decker stated on two occasions that evening two neighbors assisted
her in wrestling guns from Mr. Decker. Charged with handling
a weapon while intoxicated, Mr. Decker was arrested by Deputy
Sheriff Travaglio and transported to the Washington County
Jail.
On 24 Dec 07 Deputy Sheriff Travaglio issued
a citation to Marc D. Smith, age 23, 652 Arrowhead Road, Little
Hocking, for driving with license plates that expired in September
2007. Deputy Travaglio stopped Mr. Smith at the intersection
of Greene and Front Streets in Marietta.
On 24 Dec 07 the father of Chad W. Warner,
age 22, 260 Greenbrier Circle, Marietta, reported he has not
seen or heard from his son since the evening of 21 Dec. This
case remains under investigation (296).
On 24 Dec 07 Richard L. Newlen, age 23, 317
Hutchinson Street, New Matamoras, reported sometime over the
past two days a farm gate was stolen from the end of his driveway.
This case remains under investigation (296).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
David Alan Decker, age 58, 13651 County Nine Road, New Matamoras,
for using a weapon while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. Decker
was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Travaglio and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Dec 4:30 am.
Michael Roger Hulsey Sr., age 39, 156 Dino Drive, Salisbury,
NC, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Hulsey was arrested
on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 24 Dec 3:30 pm.
Russell Alfred Vannoy, age 30, 233 Hillcrest Drive Apt. B,
Marietta, for obstructing official business and for breach
of recognizance, both misdemeanors. Vannoy was arrested at
his residence by Patrolman Ritchie of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
24 Dec 07 at 5:00 pm.
George Albert Westbrook, age 57, 960 D.A.V. Road, Whipple,
for OVI, a misdemeanor. Westbrook was arrested in Whipple by
Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 24 Dec 11:39 pm.
Sean Eden Hogan, age 20, 31554 Via San Carlos, Temecula, CA,
for disorderly conduct and for underage consumption of alcohol,
both misdemeanors. Hogan was arrested on Plum Street in Marietta
by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Dec 07
at 11:45 pm.
