On 22 Dec 07 Brenda L. Addlesburger, age 43,
606 Brownsville Road, New Matamoras, reported her son Sonny,
age 21, arrived home intoxicated and instigated an argument.
Mrs. Addlesburger said her son retrieved a shotgun, threatened
to shoot himself and when she and her husband tried confiscating
the shotgun he assaulted them. Viewing injuries to both parents,
Deputy Sheriff Travaglio arrested Mr. Addlesburger for two
counts of domestic violence and for handling a weapon while
intoxicated and transported him to the Washington County Jail.
On 22 Dec 07 Deputy Sheriff Travaglio investigated
a report of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of the
Career Center at 21740 State Route 676, Marietta. Speaking
to the individuals at the scene, Deputy Travaglio learned Brian
Brown, age 19, 111 Old School Lane, Fleming, picked up Corey
R. Wunderlich, age 18, 300 Stone Quarry Road, Fleming, and
a seventeen year old friend and were taking turns driving Brown’s
car while towing the others around the parking lot in a metal
cart. Brown and the teenager stated they both drove the vehicle
but Wunderlich had yet to do so. Given permission to search
the vehicle, Deputy Travaglio discovered a flag he determined
Brown stole from the Career Center. Brown was arrested and
charged with criminal trespassing, theft and reckless operation;
Wunderlich was arrested on a charge of criminal trespassing.
The juvenile was released to his parents and will be summonsed
to Juvenile Court on delinquency charges.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Joshua Ray Busch, age 26, 1179 Brush Road, Marietta, for failure
to appear, a misdemeanor. Busch was arrested on Joe Skinner
Road by Deputy Sheriff Staats and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 22 Dec 12:01 am.
John Patrick Rauch, age 46, 112 Manchester Street, Marietta,
for OVI and for resisting arrest, both misdemeanors. Rauch
was arrested on Greene Street in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 22 Dec 07 at 2:11 am.
Sonny Lee Addlesburger, age 21, 606 Brownsville Road, New
Matamoras, for domestic violence and for using a weapon while
intoxicated, both misdemeanors. Addlesburger was arrested at
his residence by Deputy Sheriff Travaglio and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 22 Dec 3:01 am.
Hyedi Nikkol Wilson, age 21, 1100 12th Street Apt. 9, Vienna,
for operating with an expired license, a misdemeanor. Wilson
was arrested on County Road 11 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Dec 7:29
am.
Michael Albert Polsley, age 22, 3916 Williamstown Pike, Williamstown,
for allowing an unlicensed driver to operate his vehicle, a
misdemeanor. Polsley was arrested on County Road 11 by the
Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 22 Dec 8:01 am.
Jessica Lynn Stevens, age 26, 726 ½ Third Street, Marietta,
for breach of recognizance, for failure to appear at a court
ordered hearing on unpaid fines and for two counts of failure
to appear, all misdemeanors. Stevens was arrested in Marietta
by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Dec 07
at 9:42 pm.
Donald Estel Murphy, age 29, 1218 Williamson Avenue, for driving
under an FRA suspended license and for failure to appear, both
misdemeanors. Murphy was arrested at his residence by Deputy
Sheriff Carr and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 22 Dec 11:32 pm.
