On 18 Dec 07 Telma M. Anderson, age 68, 453
Second Street, Vincent, reported sometime since 15 Dec an unknown
suspect(s) cut and removed a ten foot tall blue spruce tree
from the property she owns across the street from her home.
This case remains under investigation (232).
On 18 Dec 07 Tim Reedy, age 38, Route 1 Box
112, Redhouse, WV, reported when he arrived at a barn on Millers
Lane to pick up a truckload of hay he purchased, 1,000 bales
of hay were missing. This case remains under investigation
(945).
On 18 Dec 07 the resident at 2081 Sealy Ridge
Road, Vincent, reported that a four year old girl appeared
at his home and walked in through the front door. The girl’s
mother was identified as Lacy Day, age 25, who lives a quarter
mile way at 1808 Sealy Ridge Road. Questioned by Sgt. Stackpole,
Ms. Day stated she took a nap and neither she nor her live-in
boyfriend was aware the child was missing. Noting this was
the second occurrence of the child wandering off, Sgt. Stackpole
requested a summons for Ms. Day for child endangerment.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Dennis Ray Oakley, age 27, 101 Franklin Street,
Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
Oakley was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Huffman of
the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 18 Dec 07 at 12:39 am.
Kathy Renee Harner, age 38, 2601 Unity Place,
Parkersburg, for violating the terms of her probation, a felony.
Harner was picked up at the Lakin Correctional Institution
by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 18 Dec 07 at 10:50 am.
Jason Lee Myers, age 23, 613 Eighth Street Apt. 4, Marietta,
for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Myers was arrested at his residence
by Patrolman Walters of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Dec 07
at 3:10 pm.
Johnny Lee Emerick, age 44, 613 Eighth Street Apt. 4, Marietta,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Emerick was arrested
at his residence by Patrolman Walters of the Marietta City
Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 18 Dec 07 at 4:00 pm.
